The question is have they left themselves too much to do.
The answer is yes, if you're talking about the league. If they were twelve points behind Arsenal and in second, then maybe, but to expect Arsenal, City and Chelsea to all capitulate is asking way too much.
Perhaps the title is beyond them, but we are 6 points above them. They could beat Newcastle, and we could lose to Southampton and we still have to go there.

And we will win there, again.

I'm not one for rushing in, but sometimes you've got to take a calculated risk. If you wait for the corpse to go cold it won't taste anywhere near as sweet. That time is now imo, as there's no way that team can overhaul Arsenal, Chelsea or us imo. They are in a three (or four) way fight for fourth at the very best.

Who would have thought after they won the Champions League in 2008, just after we'd got dicked 8-1 by 'Boro that we'd be talking in these terms, but we are. Their fans thought they could lord it over us for ever, mocking and sneering like fucking school kids.

They laughed at the thought of us winning a Trophy, derided us for daring to dream about winning the league, and sneered at the suggestion that we could become a major force in the game.

Never forget.

Like that quote. Growing up as the only blue in a football mad street full of kids, mostly rags, I won't be forgetting any time soon.

I've heard some blues on here say shit like 'Oh we should be more gracious than them'. Hmmm. Maybe in some instances. Personally I intend on taking revenge in a similar manner to the russians when they turned the tables on the nazis. The footballing equivalent of rape and murder and unbearable atrocities. It's almost fucking payback time and they're getting it in spades

The horror. The horror

Fucking well said, I'm full on giving them loads, text messages, Facebook, everything. they're getting it big time lets see how these ***** handle it. I'm not even getting the usual 'champions' or '20' reply these days, that's how much these ***** are hurting.

Fuck em.
ditto as a blue growing up in Ireland, im surrounded by the cunts and I had twenty and more years getting it in the fucking neck every time I wore a jersey out, they won, we lost. they won trophies, we got relegated etc etc etc.
with the exception of my mother(whos getting it in the neck off the old man now anyway) and a couple of good mates who are rags and never gave me grief, I'm handing it out with a fucking shovel.

The sight of those scumbags ridiculing city fans entering the swamp last season is enough to make any self respecting city fan want to give it them LARGE, no mercy because they didn't show nothing to us the cantonaticle c--ts

very good point.they will be a little bit sheepish next time when we turn up for our annual three points. perhaps.

Any team with a decent midfield can punish them.

I reckon even Newcastle will get something of them weekend

True but could see moyles grinding that out. Still think united will get 4th as mentally stronger then spurs, everton and liverpool.

Although Thursday night football would be a distraction from the prem, I would prefer them not to qualify for Europe at all so it totally fucks their coefficient points score, plus a real loss of revenue
Compared to UCL, Europa league is a real loss of revenue.

Europa league be more important next season as the winners of 2014 and 2015 europa league go into champions league the next season.

But champions league revenue doubles around then so would still be a big loss.
