I used hate watching or listening to the rags, unless the horrible bastards were playing us. I avoided them like the plague.

Today I couldn't wait to wait to get home after work and put the TV on to watch.

We went back out again just after and listened to the whole of the second half.

Not at any stage did I feel the old trepidation that scum would get a result out of that match.

On Thursday morning, I said to my manager at work - a Newcastle supporter - only half-jokingly, after their defeat at Swansea on Wednesday, "Well, at least you have an easy game on Saturday!"

And so it proved.

After all the shit we've had to take for the last thirty-plus years, I'm loving the disintegration - albeit possibly temporary - of that horrible club.

Long may it continue!

Ahhhhhhahahahahahahaha!

Never heard my father so despondent, I am really enjoying their fall.
It is as satisfying as I used to daydream about in maths class.

Just listening to that. He also said Baconface was the only one standing up in the Directors' Box at the end but he wasn't there as he was up in Scotland.

Absolute dynamite tonight.

The most satisfying thing about this is that Ferguson is the agent of their downfall.

He not only covered for the rot that set in during the Glazer reign, he solidified it by choosing Moyesie.

This is... amazing, just perfect.
