Sounds like Ferdinand is finished there then! Tweet that then you ****

To be honest Vidic looks like his injuries have done for him as well, Aguerro will fucking ruin him if he plays up against him in the derby at their place.

Long may it continue Evans, Smalling or Jones for centre half pairings - Lovely!!!

Apparently Moyes doesn't rate Smalling or Jones. So it's going to be Evans on his own.

Ferdinand - good riddance to the ****!

I know it's been touched on previously in this thread but it makes me laugh how much the media were creaming their pants at United's 6 game winning run prior to the Spurs defeat whilst pretty much ignoring our own 6 game winning run. Not only that, when you factor in the respective opponents that made up those sequences plus quality of performance it makes it even more laughable that they were lauding United so much.

Whereas we had beaten the likes of Bayern, Arsenal, and Liverpool (and played well in all those games), along with lesser opponents Leicester (played well again), Fulham (wobbled a bit to be fair but ultimately deserved the win), and Palace (least impressive performance of the six), United played Shakhtar, Villa, Stoke, West Ham, Hull, and Norwich. Of those, I think it's fair to say they rode their luck against Shakhtar, Hull, and Norwich, ground out a win at Stoke, and only Villa and West Ham provided them with comfortable wins. So, lesser opponents compared to us and lesser quality performances to boot yet the media were more than happy to play along and feed the story to the red masses that they were on a roll.

When they beat Villa it was lauded almost as the game of the season

long may this attitude continue, it makes them think they're doing everything right and therefore the problems stay and the decline gathers pace! :D

If that post from PB is right and Moyes told him he wasn't needed, and as much as I don't like Ferdinand, that's pretty fucking disrespectful - straight out of the David Brent book on management.

There was another story posted on here about Moyes, or one of his staff, telling the defenders that he wanted them to defend more like Jagielka, only for Ferdinand to say something along the lines of 'I'll put my medals up against his'. If this has any truth in it, then maybe the PB story, if true, is Moyes flexing his muscles against probably the ring leader in the dressing room.

On another note, how long before the press start on about 'unrest in the dressing room'?

Tbf to Moyes he probably realised Rio is an over the hill gobshite and likely to become a problem in the dressing room and on twitter #wanker.
