You have to wonder what strategy he has for moving them on if that is the case. Out of all the players who can play on the wing (including SK) he only rates one of them (AJ), and one has just got a long contract on improved terms. Ferdinand is on his way anywaywill be easy to replace, same with Anderson, but Smalling and Jones were bought to be part of the squad for up to 10 years or more.

Interesting on Smalling and Jones. I'd expect them two to be United future CB pairing. I quite rate Jones at centre back and wish for England's sake that United would stop fucking him around and playing him at RB and in midfield. Kid needs to learn his trade in one position and he could long term be that CB that carries the ball out of defence as is the rage now.

What's even more interesting is him thinking Fellaini was the answer for them in midfield, can it get any better?
