Hard to figure out their current run because their schedule has relaxed. They've looked really bad against any team above them in the league--even the ones they didn't lose (Arsenal and Chelsea) they still looked caca.
However, Carrick will be back eventually and Fletcher's getting healthy. The game against Spurs at the New Year will be a good indicator of where they are. Not the result necessarily, but how they'll look in that game.
Unfortunately, they'll probably be 3-4 points off of fourth place by Jan 2 if you run the table predictors.
