By all accounts he's wiped over £300 mill off the clubs value so far.

The share price is now at..........

Here's a chart of the Manchester United share price on the NYSE since launch, compared with NASDAQ and S&P500. Don't know what happened in mid December that didn't happen in early January. Anyway, bookmark the link and let's hope we can watch the share price go below the launch price and then down further.

Man Utd: David Moyes charged with misconduct by FA

Manchester United manager David Moyes has been charged with misconduct by the Football Association.

It is in relation to comments made after Tuesday's 2-1 League Cup semi-final first-leg loss to Sunderland when Moyes, 50, said United are "beginning to laugh at referees" for their "terrible" decisions.

He added that they are "playing referees as well as the opposition".

Moyes has until 18:00 GMT on Wednesday, 15 January to respond to the charge.

"It is alleged the comments called into question the integrity of the match officials... and/or implied that such match officials are motivated by bias; and/or brought the game into disrepute, in contravention of Rule E3(1)," said a statement.

The first-leg defeat was United's third loss in a week - the first time that has happened since 1992.

The Premier League champions were beaten 2-1 at home by Tottenham at the start of 2014 and followed that up with elimination from the FA Cup at the hands of Swansea, which was also played at Old Trafford.

The former Everton manager was also irked by a decision during the Spurs defeat, stating it was "scandalous" United were not awarded a late penalty.

Moyes, who succeeded Sir Alex Ferguson at United at the end of last season, said he had the pedigree to guide the club through "difficult" times.

"I have done it before, I'm experienced and I just sense that it's just on the verge of turning," he added. "I sense that we are about to get a bit better.

"If you are going to be in this job, then that's what happens. You have got to win and in the last few games, I have not won.

"We are going through a difficult time. It's part of football management, it's never going to be an easy ride."

In light of the way we are playing since Moyes took over - when do fans say enough is enough and start supporting other clubs?

At Christmas there, I had a choice of buying a Manchester Utd home jersey against the Arsenal home jersey for my youngest child. Of course I bought the United jersey as I am a T0p Red and have no problem with my children supporting a team of over priced second rate players on massive salaries. But that is for now - but how long can people go building up false hope and lying to children?

I find it very Interesting that the two players at utd who apparently want out are all of a sudden "injured"....
I have a hunch that they've both seen enough in half a season of what moyes is about or more to the point what he isn't about, said to their agents fuck this am off and have made sure they arn't cup tied and are wanting away.
Something has gone on there I'm telling you, rooney didn't look injured to me and van penis hasn't been the same since the purple nosed claret faced wilmslow wino left them in the shit.
I think there's a mountain of shit going on behind closed doors at the moyeseleum,it's just a matter of time before it goes completely tits up.

At first I began to chuckle at the perceived irony in this post, then began to realise that the contents are a distinct possibility. The scenarios look very feasible, well done manimanc, we'll wait and see.

i think all this could very well be true its what i`ve thought for a while i also feel moyes might eventually resign possibly due too overwelming stress before the start of next season. or by mutual consent.

Rooney will miss the Swansea game because he's been sent to the US for warm weather recuperation.

Basically he wants to go to Chelsea and has thrown another wobbler

Thought it was freezing in the states at the minute, surely he'd be better off going Dubai or somewhere similar?
