unfortunately not, I don't think they could hack the lack of trophies/champions league the way we did, it would be a green isle of plastic jcl Chelsea and city fans.

Don't get all this "transitional phase" stuff. He's turned them into Everton and done it pretty quickly.

This is every blue's answer to the rags' excuse as it's a "transition" period.....Ha ha Everton Utd!

Transitional as a word in this debate is not accurate anymore.
The have transitioned into a squad that is placed just about where you would expect.

If anything now the term is "major re-structuring".

Ignore the media and their buzz words.

Tbh mate ive heard the word transition come from the horses mouth more than anyone elses.

Him to then, i'll be honest i have avoided most media stuff besides the match commentary recently.
I choose my outlets with extreme care now so i can just get the good solid reports and avoid the bloggers pretending to be proper reporters.

It is the most palatable word to use, one i am sure their pr dept is hammering home to the staff.
It sounds a lot better than unstoppable slide into mediocrity, or "the need to restructure" and such, the truth hurts and they don't like that.
