Footballers are simply not allowed to do potentially dangerous sports like skiing, certainly not someone at his level. It would be in his contract for sure. Who saw him and where? If it was him then that's basically two-fingers to Moyes & the rags.
this. your also not allowed to ride a motorbike.

I thought that at one time our very own SWP (not the Blue Mooner) had a motorbike ??

Carlo Cudicini famously injured himself when coming off his motorbike while at Spurs.

Glazers hand David Moyes £100m to stop alarming slide at Manchester United

DAVID MOYES has been handed a £100million-plus war chest to rebuild Manchester United and halt the club’s worrying decline.

By: Richard TannerPublished: Tue, January 7, 2014

The Glazer family, United’s American owners, have told Moyes they will back him on any signing he wants to make either this month or in the summer, providing they are not simply short-term fixes.

After months of intensive scouting around Europe, Moyes is understood to have handed United’s hierarchy a list of targets that includes Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke, Borussia Dortmund pair Marco Reus and Ilkay Gundogan, Porto’s Eliaquim Mangala and Southampton’s Luke Shaw.

But Moyes’ dilemma is that while he desperately wants to make one or two signings this month, none of his targets is likely to become available until the summer when he may well be left with the task of buying half-a-dozen new players.

Neither Moyes nor United’s board are understood to want to blow money on panic-buys or short-term fixes having got their fingers burned by the £27.5m deadline-day signing of Marouane Fellaini, who has had a disastrous start at United.

That means Moyes is bracing himself to have to rely on the current squad to ensure United – currently seventh – finish in the top four and qualify for next season’s Champions League. Failure to do so would make attracting world-class players even more difficult as well as denting United’s revenue streams.

how could anyone be duped by this?

1. There is no way they will spend £100 million in a January window
2. There scouts have been doing intensive research for the last three months.
So what the fuck have they been doing before that? And how come these experts with their intensive research come up with a list any ardent follower of the transfer forum could produce?
3. Do they really believe that any of those named players would be signed sealed and delivered in 23 days?
4. You couldn't get a combination of three of them for less than £100 million
5. the only truth in the article: That means Moyes is bracing himself to have to rely on the current squad

how come scum fans are so gullible?

They have got to keep the tills ringing at the megastore down at the swamp somehow.
Just continue to feed 687 million fans with what they want to hear and they will keep coughing up
For how long though?
they are deluded twunts, and as de niro keeps saying, they are lost souls with no backbone who need to follow the success
it will take years but they will retreat under their stones and spend their sky subscription money on psychotherapy

Just giving you all the heads up that after the game ends 5Live are opening up the phone lines for an hour, Henry winter will be in the studio and he pulls no punches when it comes to saying it how it is. If the rags lose this game it could be comedic listening with all the rag cries of either "MOYES MUST GO" or "WE ARE UNITED WE STAY LOYAL TO OUR MANAGER", can't wait.

Went to the fashion kicks charity thing a few years ago and SWP Bellamy were bidding against each other for a motorbike in the auction, can't remember who won it

Excellent commentary PB & GDM
Sad to hear that failure to qualify for the CL may be a financial blip that they could get around for one year,

If they do spend heavily now though and qualify for CL wouldn't the profit be down anyway because of the spending and fall below that needed anyway?
If they spend heavily but don't qualify they will start having to think seriously about the impact of FFP like everyone else as well as the Glazers being deep in the mire.

If they dont spend now they are taking a huge gamble on Gollum turning the ship around and getting into the top four. Because it looks likely that the old guard plus the likes of Van Persie and possibly Shrek will be moving on in the summer anyway they will have to bring in quite a few just as replacements before they even get into a position of strengthening. They would also have to do this whilst all the best players in the world are ripping a new arsehole for the likes of Smalling, Jones, Cleverly and Wellbeck in sunny Brazil. Which star players are going to want to be dealing with changing clubs in the middle of the world cup? It makes it very hard for them to buy enough quality players in the summer but for a similar reason it also makes it hard for them to buy players now. Which player looking to get a place in his national squad for Brazil is going to want to join a team where he will have to play every minute of every game at full pelt to stand out and then have his season extended by diving (ahem) straight into training for Brazil.

The ultimate is that they don't spend now and don't qualify which of course makes it even harder to attract the best players in the summer, meaning that even if they can distract them from the World Cup their wage bill will spiral as ours did to attract those willing to forsake the CL to help them make the step back up. The added bonus is that a year outside European competition will mean their coefficient will drop significantly and probably put them in to tier 2 for 2015-16 if they did manage to qualify. Even better is if they don't strengthen enough and don't qualify again their UEFA coefficient for 2016-17 will be down significantly and actually knock them out of the Top25 on current coefficient levels.

We have all spent too many years wishing ill on the bastards to expect everything to go our way in the next 12 months but their owners are quickly painting themselves into a corner on and off the field with potentially an unsuccessful team and an asset with a much reduced commercial value which by acclamation they could be forced to sell at huge financial loss. Given the choice between trusting The Chosen One (TM) leading to financial ruin or making a significant short term loss, I cannot believe they would not choose to try to buy a few players or ....

they could of course sack him. I think they just might do that and bring back GPC.

Sweep stopped bidding when someone pointed out that his feet wouldn't reach the floor.
