If we got our act together between now and the end of the season and finished 4th, pipping Liverpool to it on the last day of the season, say, this season could end up on an extremely positive note. It would almost be worth sinking to these depths for that alone, though I wouldnt want to make a habit of it. Like a King dressing up as a pauper for a day and walking among his people incognito to better understand their plight, there must be some value for those of us that have been so spoilt for so long to better understand what it is like to be Scouse. Though of course we arent incognito, we are going through a very public humiliation. And what I am saying is less about empathy and more about giving those fuckers hope and snatching it away at the last minute, that we might revel in their anguish. But still, if that is how it panned out it would mean Moyes had turned things around, the summer rebuild would be on and Liverpool would be crying. That is something to pin my hopes on anyway.

People never factor FFP into their calculations - it's quite possible 5th will be good enough to qualify for next years CL.

Did anyone hear Clive Tyldesley last night say "we have to refer to a top 7 now due to Manures current position" !!
No....

...but I did hear Martin Tyler say it!

;-)

Bobbins by name,Bobbins by nature.

Ha har kunny funt's !! They all sound the same dribbling onto the mike about jizjaz, screaming in high pitched exited voices every time one of the red saps manages to play a forward pass.

I don't think the word 'deluded' quite does it justice !

FFS what a deluded numpty!
That bullshit is proof enough that these kunts should get every single bit of abuse that can be heaped upon them.....
I know it. Saw something a couple of days ago on reddit about having dined on steak and caviar for twenty years, there's nothing that bad about egg and chips for a couple. "That bad" ffs. When you think about the interior life of some of these gets it's fucking sickening.

They're not too keen on Gus over in the caff;

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.redcafe.net/threads/poyet-appointed-as-new-sunderland-manager-in-three-year-deal.378040/page-3" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.redcafe.net/threads/poyet-ap ... 040/page-3</a>

They're hurting.
