This is correct.
They could not beat my lot over 2 legs, and we have been bottom all season, 1 player will not and can not transform them......
Realistically, ( with blinkers off), how many Man U players would start in the City team......
........not 1.
Vidic and Ferdinand are finished, Evans and Jones are no better than "good", I do think Smalling has potential.
The full backs are terrible, both the twins, Evra etc...
Centre midfield....to my knowledge, they have a full centre midfield available, but Colback, Ki, and Cattermole won the battle.....so they ain't that good either.
Mata is quality, but I think he is more likely to be Rooneys replacement, they are too similar.

Rooney is not better then Silva, or any of your forwards, neither is RVP.
That nutmeg off talk sport suggests that there is not about to be a tidal change in Manchester...

@suoercrystal Mata might score more than Silva, but he's nowhere near as creative, or as good at controlling possession.

I agree with the as good at controlling possession. Silva is brilliant at dictating the game. That's why I have said previously that if was Barca, Spain, City, Arsenal or Bayern then I would rather have Silva in the side. Though he has not been doing it this year, Silva is also pretty good defensively. If asked he will track back, compete for tackles and do a reasonable job defensively. Mata will drift out of games, but will usually create a great chance. Chelsea selling Mata to City would not have made a huge difference in my opinion. Nasri may be injured, but I don't think he would be a better fit than Nasri. Overall I think Silva is better, but I think Mata would make a bigger difference in a struggling team.

Absolutely spot on ! If an ageing,poor quality and frankly appalling defence is leaking goals for fun then buying strikers won't change anything, furthermore what their plight glaringly exposes is a vast deterioration in the depth of the squad when just a couple of injuries reduces them to a team of mid table cloggers and divers.I still remain to be totally convinced that shrek and Van Pussy really want to be there anyway, with the prospect of no silverware looming and no CL next season their wandering eyes may be looking enviously toward bigger and better things at another club.
