"And Mr Glazier has given me TEN more games to turn it around...."

Mata is just the player they need but it's far too late for him to make an impact this season and them pretending he's going to turn it all around is ridiculous. I like Mata as a bloke but I know as soon as I see him in that shirt ill start hating him, annoying.

When an engine is fucked, changing one piston wont help!!

This is correct.
They could not beat my lot over 2 legs, and we have been bottom all season, 1 player will not and can not transform them......
Realistically, ( with blinkers off), how many Man U players would start in the City team......
........not 1.
Vidic and Ferdinand are finished, Evans and Jones are no better than "good", I do think Smalling has potential.
The full backs are terrible, both the twins, Evra etc...
Centre midfield....to my knowledge, they have a full centre midfield available, but Colback, Ki, and Cattermole won the battle.....so they ain't that good either.
Mata is quality, but I think he is more likely to be Rooneys replacement, they are too similar.

Rooney is not better then Silva, or any of your forwards, neither is RVP.
That nutmeg off talk sport suggests that there is not about to be a tidal change in Manchester...
...HE IS CORRECT....
..as it has already happened...
..so give back the 20+ years of crap you had while SKY waxed lyrical about the theatre of dreams etc.....
Yes, footy fans will point the finger and say, it was money that made you what you are etc....it is jealousy, I am well jealous of your success, BUT.... It doesn't mean you didn't deserve it.

You guys stuck with it through thick and thin.....

And you are now being rewarded in a way you could never have dreamed.

ENJOY

I've had a soft spot for Sunderland since a certain day in May 1973, when a cartain Ian Porterfield scored against another team of dirty, cheating bastards.

I can still recall most of the names of that team and this is off the top of my head:

Montgomery
Pitt
Malone
Watson
Horswill
Watson
Hughes
Tueart
Porterfield

Unfortunately, the names of the other 3/4 elude me, though I'm sure I could find them if I googled them and I'm sure I will say, "Oh, yes, of course," as soon as I see them.

Poyet seems like a really decent man, even if he did try to defend Klanfield's vampire and I hope you stay up.

I just hope you lose on your impending visit to Wembley.

if as expected mata is arriving as rooneys eventual replacement, playing behind rvp, its a downgrade - great player but nowhere near goal threat of rooney
I agree with this. It'll just put more expectation on rvp. There won't be much goal threat at all when rvp's inevitably injured again.
