i dont think anyone is angry at them. more we pity them, laugh at them and most of all really look forward to playing them.

what is consistant is their obsession with us. you'd think being shit they would lie low, better still maybe follow their local club. gloryhunting can't be any fun with no glory at the end of a 4 hour drive up north. can it?

Look forward to playing I'll give you captain, but good luck getting the pity line past me. I don't think you can pity United supporters when they've seen what they've seen.

And how do you define 'being shit'? I don't know if you remember the 80s, but I reckon United were 'more shit' in 86-87 and 88-89 (11th in Division One both seasons).

i pity you because you have been left nowhere to go. the glory you gave up all your self respect for has gone. you are now simply a strange sort who walks around on matchday doing nothing, no shirt on display, no banter cos you darent, nothing to do but hide behind your jellied eels and memories of what the team 200 miles away gave you. faceless people who look a right c**t should you venture out in a rag shirt as the locals head for the towns team. real fans with real passion for their local club with local pride at stake. you will never have that, never feel what they and we feel every single time our team take to the field of play.

as i say, i pity you.

at least now the proper rags who do live in manchester, like upteen of lads i know, will get to watch utd again. every cloud and all that.

Memoirs of a glory hunter.

We could lend them one of our grounds.

Cheat

The seeming fact Rooney is the closest thing to a box to box they have tells me their first 11 is no better settled than it was this time last year.
Falcao and RVP but long ball bog brush is their main threat xD that is worth a giggle of anyone's lungs.

Keeper: - He has come good but is he gonna stay ?

Defence - Not good enough, injury prone.

Midfield - complete mess, no generals or anyone close to it, that includes rooney
Rooney being calmer has taken a massive edge from him also. Not for him but for how it made those around him play. I think this is something that has been overlooked as a factor in their mediocre style of play. Most of it has been worse than that tbh.

Strikers - Need totally new front line.

If united were showing any real progress and/or general solidity in the primary style of play then cl would look a formality.
This would have transfer targets already thinking "yeah i would go to them now" but they can't as it is touch and go. They can't plan for the summer properly until they know what tier of european competion they are going to be in, a big problem for them going forward.

I'm in two minds about that.

Thursday Europa League / Sunday Premier League would fuck them and the knuckle-dragging fans' schedules up, but no European football would reduce their UEFA co-efficient still further.

Plus no CL / EL would leave them fresher for domestic games and we don't want that.
