Having now read somewhere in the region of one million and one comments about the rag shitty scum c**ts from Stretford, please may I take this opportunity to refer all blues back to the visionary comments of our great friend and fellow blue, Walter:

“Where do you go from here? Where do you go from here?”

In years to come when people look back on the greatest speeches of our generation... Churchill, Mandela and Luther King, I hope that people take a moment to remember Walter and possibly, in the eyes of all blues, one of the greatest speeches of all time.

Where do you go from here? Where do you go from here?”

I am not ashamed to admit that every time I think of Walter’s words it brings shivers down my spine. What a visionary. What true words spoken in a moment of sheer emotion and celebration.

For all those glory hunting, bandwagon blues who may be reading this, I implore you to take a moment to research Walter... and Helen Turner...and Lunch box Pete...and Mickey Francis...and Tits Our Jackie and the thousands of other life-long blues who have helped to make this club what it is today.

I remember in the late 80’s, shitefaced and totally c**t in a boozer in Plymouth (Plymouth vs City), having not missed a single game for 3 years, declaring to anyone who would care to listen that I had to be amongst the top 100 blues in the world, How naive and stupid I must have sounded. There are at least a thousand, two thousand, three thousand blues who could justifiably laugh in my face and despite being a season ticket holder for over 30 years now, I wasn’t at York on that fateful day, i wasn’t on that boat to the Faroe Islands and no I didn’t see Colin Bell in a Bury Shirt at Maine Road.

I have given my entire life to this great club of ours and yet after 48 years of loving this club with every piece of my heart and every inch of my sole, i remain a million miles away from being the City supporter that i aspire to be.

I’m now clearly rambling and have forgotten the point of my post and so I will end by saying that my love for City knows no bounds and consumes every second of my waking life and my hatred for u****d is equally fierce .

And in case anyone needs reminding...

“Where do you go from here? Where do you go from here?

Thank you Walter.

And the answer to that question is...

Downhill.

Cheat

As clear as day. Against a league one side. How desperate is that.

And whilst winning 2-1 in the 88th minute

So let me get this right, the England and man u skipper, stalwart of a £250 million team, idolised by millions of guillable children around the world and Asia, has cheated in order secure a place in the next cup round against a lowly club as Preston North End and has openly apologised for said misdemeanour. What's been done about it I ask.

Oh dear. Andy Green reports that they owe over £100m in deferred transfer fees, payable in the next 1 to 2 years.

It really is squeaky bum time in the boardroom over there:

Tick tock

Interesting.

Unfortunately, I believe the new TV deal will see them safely through this.

I don't see how this is any different from what every clubs does. With FFP we will be staggering our payments too I'm sure. Or is this different from amortisation(sic)?
Yeah it doesn't matter how you actually pay for a player. For FFP purposes, the transfer fee is always spread over the duration of the contract. That's why they can get away with spending shitloads of money knowing that only a fifth of it will show up on next year's accounts (assuming a 5 year contract).

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/559182/Manchester-United-summer-transfers-latest-Louis-van-Gaal" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football ... s-van-Gaal</a>

EXCLUSIVE: Louis van Gaal to spend over £150m on FIVE signings this summer

Van Gaal's wants to continue his radical overhaul of United's squad by signing five new players – a right back, centre back, midfielder, winger and striker.

He has signed seven players while discarding over a dozen in his first season in charge but constantly complains that his squad lacks "balance" and he has been forced to play players out of position in formations he is not always entirely happy with.

Even though United's absence from Europe this season has hit them in the pocket, senior figures at Old Trafford insist that money is no problem, with the new £750m kit deal with Adidas kicking in from this summer as well as the club’s anticipated return to the riches of Champions League.

Southampton’s Nathaniel Clyne is top choice for the right back position that has been a problem for United ever since Gary Neville retired.

Rafael Da Silva hasn’t started a game since October and the Brazilian’s frequent injury problems and lapses in defensive concentration would appear to be against him while Antonio Valencia, who has been used there this season, admits he is far happier going forward than backwards.

Clyne has the pace, energy and aggression, not to mention a powerful shot, to play either as a normal right back or in the wing back role if Van Gaal prefers to go with a 3-5-2 system.

Van Gaal constantly emphasises how happy he is with United’s defensive record in recent months.

They have not conceded more than one goal in a game since the 2-2 draw at West Brom in October and boast the third lowest goals conceded tally in the Premier League behind Southampton and Chelsea.

But the heroics of goalkeeper David De Gea have rescued them on countless times and the general view at Old Trafford is that they still need a strong, experienced centre half to go alongside Marcos Rojo.

The injury records of Phil Jones, Chris Smalling and Jonny Evans mean United’s back line is constantly changing.

Van Gaal rates youngsters Paddy McNair and Tyler Blackett but they lack experience and Borussia Dortmund’s Mats Hummels remains Van Gaal’s top target.

United are confident they can land the German World Cup winner this summer but if a deal fails to materliase another option is Paris St Germain youngster Marquinhos.

In midfield, Kevin Strootman remains Van Gaal’s preferred choice but the Roma player will have to prove he has made a full recovery from his kee problems before United make a move.

Strootman was a key figure in Holland’s qualification, under Van Gaal, for the World Cup although he missed the finals in Brazil following cruciate ligament damage.

Van Gaal made his interest in the former PSV Eindhoven star quite clear on taking over at Old Trafford last summer when he indicated he was prepared to wait for him to recover from his injury.

After a nine-month lay-off, Strootman played half a dozen games for Roma but wasn’t happy and will now miss the rest of the season after returning to Holland for a “clean up” operation on the same knee which complicates a summer bid.

As United have experienced with Radamel Falcao, signing a player on his way back from a serious injury is fraught with problems.

Many United fans would love to see Paul Pogba return to the club but the feeling at Old Trafford is that they will refuse to eat humble pie and buy him back from Juventus for huge money after he let his contract run down and left as a free agent here years ago.

United needed an injection of pace and penetration up front and Van Gaal is set to raid his native Holland again for a winger – PSV Eindhoven’s Memphis Depay, who is being tipped to be as good as Arjen Robben.

Depay has plundered 18 goals in 23 appearances this season and PSV coach Phillip Cocu confirmed this week that he will leave this summer.

Old Trafford would seem his likely destination with Depay, 21, regarding Van Gaal – who included him in his World Cup squad in Brazil – as a “father-figure.”

Pacey German international Marco Reus also remains on United’s radar even though he has signed a new deal that will keep him at Borussia Dortmund until 2019.

The failure of Falcao to impress during his loan spell and the decline in form of Robin van Persie, means a striker has also become a priority, despite the promise of youngster James Wilson.

In that department, United are understood to have scouted Palermo’s Paulo Dybala and Inter Milan’s Mauro Icardi.

I'm sure they meant spend £150m on their famous youth academy. United only produce homegrown players like Phil Jones, Chris Smalling, Rafael and Wayne Rooney.

Eh? who.....

The Red Devils are also celebrating after beating Arsenal and Manchester City in the race to sign Belgian rising star Indy Boonen, 16. (The Sun - subscription required)

No apologies for not pasting the story as I won't subscribe to this vile rag nor give it click bait

According to De Telegraaf,Nigel De Jong will leave Milan at the end of the season on a free, and has "given his word"to join up with the TT.

If NdJ does end up at the swamp, he will go down in the view of many Blues, myself included.

It's one thing for Mario to go to Klanfield, but it's an entirely different matter for a City hero to play for the scum.

I hope this is just more paper bullshit.
