Rags glorious history.

Even Charlton couldn't help himself yesterday going on about "our History" just ask him what glorious history did you have before Baconface? He'll say Er..Er...errrrrrrr The Munich air disaster! BINGO That's what put them on the map! He was even keeping it in the public domain yesterday by putting up memorial placks up on where those players lived

Re: Rags glorious history.

while we're on the subject of the disaster we can't mention but they can use as a cash cow:

munich survivor johnny berry, whose injuries ended his career, was evicted from his club house while still rehabilitating & fired by letter.

jackie blanchflower, in the same situation, was also evicted from his club house & fired.

albert scanlon was offloaded to newcastle by busby who told him to keep in touch if he ever needed anything. some years later, after he had fallen on hard times, he went to the swamp to see busby who completely blanked scanlon when he was approached.

and people wonder why we call them the scum.

Re: Rags glorious history.

Asking us to play in Retro kits without sponsers on for the 50th anniversary, which we did. But as the 2 teams came out of the tunnel together, each player holding hands with a child, the kids with Utd tops on had the sponsers name on thier kits. Just cant help it can they.

Chilien Miners. Using another Tragedy to market the club

"Cantona charging United £90,000 to appear in the Munich benefit match."

Wow just wow, the self serving barstuard, thats pretty low man.
He should have donated 90k not wanted it, if all rags are aware he did that and they still sing his praises then they are worse than i thought.

Yep - even Cantona thinks they are cunts.

When Frank O' Farrell was asked to become the new manager of the scum, Matt Busby negotiated the terms. O' Farrell would get £12,000. When they eventually had the meeting to confirm this it was in a car (they were poaching him I think from Leicester) with Busby and the Chairman Edwards. Edwards said to O' Farrell "So we're agreed, it's £15,000 a year?" Tells you a lot that story, and I heard it from O' Farrell's own mouth. Fucking degenerates through and through.
The subsequent 'Match of the Day' programmes after this were then known as the 'Frank O'Farrell hour,' as we were then, as now, subject to having the rags displays rammed down our throats ad nauseum.

o'farrell's his only contribution to the rags was to leave them several places further down the table in the build up to eventual relegation. city fans used to sing, to the tune of roll out the barrel, 'shit on o'farrell' especially during the embarrassingly one sided derbies of the time.
