I said at the start of the window that Depay will be the biggest transfer fee they'll pay.

I stand by that. The Kane transfer won't happen.

Linked with Lukaku today. They definitely need a striker, but I'm not sure Lukaku is the guy. He hasn't developed as well as expected and I'm not convinced his technical ability is top class. If it was, why would Chelsea let him go?

I'm not convinced it's average, he seems to have at least one moment like the shrek elephant touch against Ireland every game.

Totally agree.

It's easy to work out why he was so good at such a young age; his physique.

He was great at West Brom in his first loan spell when he was an unknown player. Since then, defenders are paying more and more attention to him and his goal tally has gone down every season since.

His lack of technical ability is getting exposed and he relies on his physical ability very heavily. That's ok at a club like Everton, but to be the main striker for a club challenging for the league?

They let de Bruyne go too

Not really, they were both let go because Mourinho doesn't want young players that he has to develop, he wants players who are already at their peak so he can win things now, as he won't be there later. So if he can sell the young players and then use the money to buy ready made players instead then he'll dothat every time.
