here was me thinking they were going to be breaking a transfer record ;o)

suspect its a mixture of the two - no doubt when season tickets flag or the owners fancy raising an extra $100m by floating shares Woodward opens his gob - a week later they have picked up he tells Turtlehead to cool expectations - I hope they don't spend any more - will love to watch Smalling and Jones get fucking ripped to bits week in week out by Premier League attacks - nobody fears them at the swamp now but their own players don't relish playing there and when Hull and Stoke turn them inside out I bet Turtle will be begging for the January window and the reinstatement of their £200m fantasy kitty........
