They are funny though.
Some of them (probably the younger ones who have only ever known success) seem to be having difficulty adjusting .
That club has just had a prolonged period of extraordinary success due to having an extraordinary manager. Some of them seem to think that they can carry on as before without him , but they are sadly deluded. They are returning to the ranks of the ordinary , as we all saw last season . Butthead may bring them a trophy or two in the next couple of years but he will be short term as will their next boss after him.
Unless they can clone the GPC then they will have to accept the new reality.
This should produce much mirth induced urination- I'm lapping forward to a good few years of painful adjustment .

Idiotic rag of the day quote

The spelling mistakes aren't mine, its a pure cut n paste.

It's an ridicoulus amount of players bought on sometimes incredibly poor decisions which leaves holes even in this squad.
It's a squad I would've had if I would still be 14, playing FM and having activated ArtMoney.
How can you hoover up such an incredible amount of offensive players (seemingly without thinking about wether they are useful to the squad and system or not) and play with Demichelis and Clichy (or Kolarov) in defense? And don't get me started on absolutely useless and overpaid tranfers like Negredo, Jovetic or Navas. I mean, is there a rule somewhere at the moment every offensive prospect City buys turns shit the moment he arrives? Ok, to be fair, probably they are just the wrong ones for the wrong job.
Man, guys, how could these win the league?

Even with red tinted specs, this bloke is a complete ignoramus.

The use, or rather misuse, of the English language and the needy tone of the post points to this creature being a prepubescent American who's recently discovered 'sawcker' but not masturbation.

Helen Turner was discussed today in The Manchester Memories Facebook page as her bell was rung to signal the opening of the National Football Museum.

Read the comments from John Michael Donnery. A real classy red. Anyone know him?

And they call us bitter??

Shouldn't be too difficult to find where he lives. Only one John Michael Donnery in GT Manchester according to 192.com.

Anyone know where the Elvis statue is?

It was Winston Churchill actually ;-)

Just got home from a night out with a couple of mates who are rags and they are in no doubt dubious about what is happening at the swamp. I pointed out that they are short at the back and in midfield and they agreed saying that LVG needs to realise quick that Jones, Smalling and Evans are shit and however good he is he wont turn them into top players, what surprised me most as well is that they said are all very injury prone and a tackle away from a few weeks off on the treatment table. I'm loving this at the moment! Just thought I'd share with you ;-)

This thread is at the very bottom of the front page of "active topics" and I have had to say this before.
Keep your friends close and your enemies closer. It should now be up near the top of the board when the more sensible posters wake up in the morning.

Anyway, with Vermaelen signing on for Barcelona does anybody think they may have a nibble at Benatia or Agger or Shawcross or even Nastasic ?

If yesterday's man is adamant on going with three at the back he needs at least another two to go with Johnny Evans and the other two clowns.

I think we'll in trouble, folks.

The venerable Jason Burt of The Telegraph sees United and Chelsea fighting out the title because of the managers they have.
We will be left battling with the likes of Spurs for minor honours.

Ah well. It was good while it lasted.
