£170m on 5 players - no wonder some clubs don't have a big yoof system - its clearly an expensive thing to run !!! Just add in De Gea , Fat Boy and the Diver and thats over £230m and you are still 3 players short of a starting 11 - how the fuck are we accused of buying anything !!!??

TBF, Madrid probably said "agree today or the price goes up £5M again".
I actually think this is a great signing for united. IMO VG knows his defence is too poor to win anything and the best they can do is 5th....so forget about the defence and beef up the attack. Beyond the top 3 or 4 clubs the rest of the league can't punish poor defending often enough and in most cases attacking is your best defence. So the win the league behind the top 4 and then try to draw against the top sides hoping that one of them fall out.
I obviously hope they screw it up but if they could only make one 1 big signing then I think they went for the right guy.

Its so deliberate i actually feel sorry for them as its all they have left, a PR department that thinks they are being clever in timing the announcements but in fact makes them seem petty and irrelevant to us.
