I said it last week and I don't understand why Van Gaal doesn't play his new players like Hummels, Vidal, Pogba and Ronaldo? I thought they didn't even need convincing to sign for this historical and majestic club with the greatest manager the world has seen.

And all of them, to a man, was gonna play for nowt.

If you are like me and (just) old enough to remember the end of the Matt Busby era at OT, their demise that followed and subsequent relegation by us in April 1974, do you think that what is currently happening to the rags is a carbon copy and they have learnt nothing by past mistakes?

I have no doubt that our success is also eating at them day and night- sense has gone out of the window and they are obsessed with initially catching and then beating us at all costs. They still have not bought one top quality player in this window, and £60m for a winger is crazy in my opinion. They need a new defence before the week is out.

Watching their reactions last night just made me think they are in total denial, they have still not realised how fast they are falling, agree?

di maria scored 18 goals in 80 games in the most expensive group of attacking players ever to be assemble in world football, i wonder if he`ll score with that bag of shite he`s just joined

Are we seeing history repeat itself with the Rags?
Moyes = McGuinness ( the chosen one of the previous legend)
Van Gaal= O'Farrell ( the master tacticians)
Docherty= ?
Wonder who the Doc's modern day equivalent will be?
if history is to be repeated they need someone known for shagging staff. Riggsy or Pardew.

Sounds like they have a touch of the Peter Swales.

And look what that did to us. Here's hoping....

Some cracking one-liners in this article from yesterday's Mirror (click to enlarge)

That's funny as f### but far from objective reporting. The line about not wanting their own utility man was my favorite :-)

It's even funnier than that. Futility man he said!

We only really recovered from Swales in 2008. If just a fraction of what happens to us happens to them I will be happy.
The rabid hordes have already shown they don't posses the humour or the character to cope with it.
