Personally, and I know this isn't a view universally held, I would greatly welcome united fans to this forum (and especially this thread) who were capable of reasoned and reasonable debate, even in a robust fashion.

As a footnote (and again it's a personal view) but blues should not be going on Sad Cafe masquerading as united fans. It's pathetic when united fans do it here (as they frequently do - although not as much as previously) and the same standards should apply the other way imo.

Its a view i share also.

It's the timing more than anything. One shite season and we don't see these tw@ts for dust, bar the odd one. They should try 30 + years of it. Christ. It was only a couple of weeks ago they were planning a protest.

They get giddy after couple of 'un-needed' signings, and Woodward is the Messiah, the Sharp replicas are back out of the wardrobes, and they start posting again.

I reckon this one is a keeper on here though. He debates, he doesn't take offence. And he hasn't run away. So we don't agree with what he says. Boring if we did.

Hope you are right but im really scared they will get top 4 this season. They will spend again in January.

They'll sign a CB or 2 and a centre mid like Vidal in January or next summer and have a squad to challenge for the title again. I would love tgem to go years without trophies but it will never happen. They have way too much money. Its only a matter of time til these cubts will be back up there.

Just for clarification, you are aware that if Everton or Spurs win The Europa League, THEY will get 4th place in next seasons C/L Comp and not our quiet neighbours, should they somehow scrape 4th?

City...
Chelsea...
Arsenal...
Liverpool.....

All shoe-ins for the top 4 this season then there's Spurs or Everton as possible gatecrashers to the top 4 party.

Even with the panic buys the rags have made, I cannot see them challenging ANY of these top 6 sides any time soon.

Yes - and as I pointed out on ragcafe this morning (before I was banned again) there exists a scenario where they get 4th and STILL don't get a champions league place.* If Spurs or Everton win the Europa Cup.

Would love that to happen!

*What price UEFA changing the rules though, were that to come to pass!

Better make the most of it now. I loved seeing their faces after the Swansea match after they had been full of themselves after the summer friendlies
Sorry pal but you are stinking of raggyness with that post right there. Has to be a wind up

Rag hate is too strong a word for you as an individual but i hate your double standards club snd all it stands for and you can trot out all you like about being reasonable and a father, as if that makes a difference, in my opinion you are typical of the majority of rag fans I have the misfortune to bump into now and then.

The second word is off I had to listen to the deluded shite you and your ilk have spouted for years and I don't have to on a man city fans site.Converse with somebody else I am done with you!

Apologies to anyone reading this for typos I am on my phone on a train.

Well, If you really want closure then please dwell on this before you reach your destination.

By constantly and actively fishing out inaccuracies in the media and in random encounters, you are proliferating the standpoint of an inferior entity who is being wronged in some way. I ask you why you need to continue down this path (when you are in a position of strength), and you say because you are victims of historical events, but your disasters in the grand scheme of things are not unique to me or millions of football fans up and down the country. It is widely commented by city fans that your lowest ever point was York City away. Well, imagine being a York City fan instead! Isn’t their story and millions of other football fans stories more harrowing and painful than your own? Wouldn’t they give their right arms to be where you are right now? PL champions with a fantastic team playing at its peak, a new stadium and academy on the way, and a Billionaire owner with skin in the game. Would they not be looking forward to the future with glee, instead of looking at the past with resentment? Why does every step along the way have to be compared with a rival? Why not follow your own destiny and enjoy the moment?

Good day to you.

I,m struggling through this bit of the thread, and I know there are another 10 pages to go, but blimey what an absolute condescending bastard he is

What about City fans masquerading as united fans on here.. nudge nudge wink wink. ;)

You are here to troll
This particular myth you are trying to propagate was firmly put to bed this time last week by several posters as you ran around in ever decreasing circles telling us you must be intelligent because you held a masters degree.

And yet you have managed to twist a different story back to something that was discussed last week. In your posts today you exclaim that 'we' keep going round in circles ad infinitum, yet you are incapable, or culpable, of returning back to a discredited excuse.

Most people I know with masters degrees work in KFC.

Surely it depends on what subject the masters is in? What subject does the rag have a masters degree in?

He did say he held a masters degree but then gave it back to the bloke that dropped it.

Looks perfectly normal to me, but according to mumsnet it's out of bounds for the foreseeable. Anyhow, I thought you Mayo men were too busy dressing up as priests and chasing small boys around the rectory?
Eh? I must have been out of the office when the memo about me being a Mayo man was circulated. You'll have to remind me how that one went.
Just seen this,so if I could just interject one moment,I am a Mayo man...........and as such I have something to say......."FUCK OFF YOU RAG CUNTS".............is that Mayo enough for you sad bastards ?
Unlucky on Saturday, thought you had the beating of us for a lot of the match.
