4-2-3-1
Hart

Zabba
Vinny
Mangala
Kolorov

Fernandinho
Fernando

Navas
Yaya
Silva

Aguero

Prediction.........rags destroyed.

to not go 2 up top against 1 of the weakest defences and slowest midfields would be criminal

.................................................hart.............................................

zaba.........................vinny..................mangala.............kolarov

milner.......................fernando............yaya.....................silva

..................................aguero.................jovetic.........................

Milner and zaba to keep ti maria quiet and the rest takes care of its self 5-0/5-1and that's honestly not being biased.

Was just an opinion and I wouldn't argue with your selection,I was in 2 minds over navas or jimmy.

I went for milner for the pure reason if ti maria doesn't get time on the ball they can't really hurt us fernando will see to shrek and there to goal hangers will either be offside or in the big 2 lads pocket I'd expect there biggest threat to come from rafeal!

That's not saying much tbh

Ok,we got the derby coming up on the 2nd of November.
What would be your choice of line up and formation for this game?
What would your predicted result be With your said formation and line up?

Formation I'd go for is the same 4-3-1-2
De gea

Rafael Jones Rojo Shaw

Carrick
Herrera Blind

Di Maria
Falcao. Rooney

Predicted result 2-2 (probably last gasp Aguero brace)..but honestly at this moment in time I can't see us winning or drawing at the etihad only because I have not seen how the team copes in the big games..and I don't think city will want to lose any more ground on Chelsea. Let's put it this way if united beat Chelsea then city will need to win the derby and if Chelsea beat united then city will definitely need to win the derby ..so as things stand it's hard to see united getting a result of any kind in that game..having said that ..this is football anything can happen.

What would your choice of line up and formation be for the derby? And predicted result?

LOL

Hahah that's funny

With regards to the line up..

I rate dzeko more than Jovetic ..true professional that guy ..gets on with the job regardless of whether he starts from the bench or not and he gets his allotment of goals ..he's more likely to start ahead of Jovetic in the derby.

united will play out of their skins, and the players they've bought are top players because not only do they perform every week but also are usually outstanding in the bigger games, rooney, falcao,di maria, phil jones, van persie, can see this being a really enjoyable derby, they will not be able to live with our pass and move, they are not a team, they are a collection of expensive players, given some of them are top top players they will always have a chance.

my predictions for united v Chelsea and city v united

2-0 to Chelsea
4-1 to city

in saying that,if they lose di maria or falcao for any of those games then I could see an embarrassment, and possibly uniteds confidence destroyed.im talking big big scores.

You make a good point..we are not a team yet and we might struggle in the big games but I don't think the score lines will be huge...you can't underestimate the attacking threat we posses now...we will score against Chelsea and city..the only concern is how we will defend and who will be in defence for us.

Ironically this is what they were saying about us a few years ago

jovetic, s movement would destroy you your defence is that bad! And you have no real pace with blind carrick and herrera in the middle I don't really see the fascination with herrera not been in 1 spain at 25! Javi garcia as 2 caps!

theres no doubting your attack,it really is amazing whats been brought up throught the united youth academy :),however if blind is your only defensive midfielder then I cant see you getting the ball off us,im hoping Chelsea don't stuff you, because if they do I can see a very defensive line up v us(city).

I do think van gaal will do well for united,i think he will spend heavily again in the summer,he will bring in quality, however at the moment united are too top heavy,i don't think he did shaw any favours by calling him fat/unfit, as for the cbs evans, blackett, jones, smalling, rojo,i think an average championship side would be happy to face that lot.

our team have been together for a while now, uniteds is all over the place, battered off west ham and a very poor everton side at home,i know you won those games but imo that was a papering over the cracks, however you wont be facing west ham and everton, youll be facing the runners up and the champions of this season,in that order :),i even fancy west brom getting a result.

Look I'm not trying to wum or anything but I think that some city fans have been scarred so bad by some unruly united fans over the years that even when a honest Man united loving fan like myself comes to converse on their forum they automatically think that he's working an angle..or as you guys call it wumming.

This forum particularly this thread gets very emotional to the point that it clouds their judgement.. It's hard to keep a football related topic going for more than 2 posts before the complaints about what united did to them and banners of the past creep up. Which is disappointing tbh because I'm just here to get your opinion on football teams, players, managers.

The problem is you are not a united fan. You are a glory hunting plastic. You've never felt emotion for a win or a loss. To you it's just another TV programme, one that you brew up in the adverts, a bit like what we do watching celebrity juice.
I'll talk football to any rag, have done many times on here and they are welcome. The only remit is they have to have been to old Trafford as often as me.sadly that is rarely the case.

I am a big united fan but if calling me a plastic glory hunter eases the pain of years past then go ahead.. I don't think I ever claimed that I supported united before they were successful I came out straight with the truth I began supporting the club around 96/97 I was 7/8yrs old but it seems you guys can't handle the truth which is no suprise ..I don't live in England so I can't really get involved the way most united fans can and You won't find a single post from me boasting about the success of the club.. In fact it's you guys who have been boasting about your past success!..I have been to old trafford at least once as hard as it was to get a decent ticket..the only realistic chance I have for now to see united live is when they are on a pre-season tour to the US which is still a trip but I make the effort..I've made my contributions to the club however small they are. The only difference between me and you is that you grew up with the stadiums in your backyard.

as plastic as they come. you are an embarrassment to the proper reds that go to the games and actually support the team.
enjoy your telly, it must be very important to you. great you can switch sides when you are losing, oh sorry I meant channels.

Come on now, he's been to Old Trafford "at least once" to be fair to him.
