Then in late October they have Chelsea, who will annihilate that defence.

God, I hope you're right! Di Maria looks like a player and a half. Shite defence, though. Hopefully they won't just 'outscore' teams. I want that club finished. I want the rats who 'support' them trying to extinguish the smouldering flames of the swamp with their own tears.
You won't notice it if it's anything like the last one they had.paulchapo said:What time is the victory parade in Manchester tomorrow?I need to know so i can avoid it!

It would but I can't see it happening, they'll go again in January aswell I bet and just nudge out Liverpool come the end of the season.Big Yaya Wilko 12 said:beast said:Ain't gonna happen though is it.Big Yaya Wilko 12 said:God, I hope you're right! I never said it was realistic! Haha! I do think that if they were to finish outside of the top 4 this season it would be a disaster for them, though.

If City, Chelsea and Liverpool - and possibly Arsenal & Tottenham - are in decent form when they play the scum, that back four is going to be seriously exposed. So, let the scummers enjoy it while it lasts.

They will obviously challenge for the title, to much firepower in the side not to especially with no CL football.Mattyc55 said:Granted it was a terrible QPR side, but I think its pretty obvious that they will be much better this season.. diamond formation suits them much more and Di Maria gives them that fear factor on the ball that they havent really carried since Ronaldo left. Herrera looked neat and tidy (we'll see how he does in the bigger games though) and along with Blind they're a massive upgrade on shite like Cleverley and Fletcher in midfield. Rojo/Shaw are good left backs so they're quite well stocked in that department too.
They're certainly not on City/Chelsea levels in terms of quality right across the pitch (especially in central defence) but without any CL distraction I expect them to get into the top 4 at the expense of Liverpool or Arsenal.
Bring it on.
I've had no responses to the wind ups I've put out about their spending, which says more than if they did respond.MaineRoadmcfc said:They will obviously challenge for the title, to much firepower in the side not to especially with no CL football.Mattyc55 said:Granted it was a terrible QPR side, but I think its pretty obvious that they will be much better this season.. diamond formation suits them much more and Di Maria gives them that fear factor on the ball that they havent really carried since Ronaldo left. I just find it hilarious how their fans attitude to spending money has changed. Its fine for united to spend money lol but no one else or there buying the league.
Hope your right but I just cant see a side containing Di maria, RVP, Rooney, Falcao and Mata not challenging for the title.Pigeonho said:I've had no responses to the wind ups I've put out about their spending, which says more than if they did respond.MaineRoadmcfc said:They will obviously challenge for the title, to much firepower in the side not to especially with no CL football.Mattyc55 said:Granted it was a terrible QPR side, but I think its pretty obvious that they will be much better this season.. diamond formation suits them much more and Di Maria gives them that fear factor on the ball that they havent really carried since Ronaldo left. They won't challenge for the title though in my view. That defence will concede loads against the better sides.
Because there are far better teams they will face who are guaranteed goals against that back line. They will score but they will also concede.MaineRoadmcfc said:Hope your right but I just cant see a side containing Di maria, RVP, Rooney, Falcao and Mata not challenging for the title.Pigeonho said:I've had no responses to the wind ups I've put out about their spending, which says more than if they did respond.MaineRoadmcfc said:They will obviously challenge for the title, to much firepower in the side not to especially with no CL football.

They'll probably spend again in January as well.
