I`ll try not to let my hatred of all things raggish colour my judgement.

I thought it was for them a great result with a goalkeeper that is very good but got lucky on the day, everything was straight at him.

Having two young players in Mcnair and Blackett and midfielder Carrick and winger Valencia in defence. i wonder if we could go to Arsenal with a depleted defence and get something out of the game.

Still think they are shit but the rest of us in the league are gash at the moment.

Shows how poor the premier is this season when that was the scums first away win and they went 4th

lucky as fuck though. it wont last.
It was very lucky, but it might turn their season.
As I recall, beating Arsenal last year was going to kick start their title charge, too.
It was a freakish result and if anybody beyond the giddy, happy clapping, armchair rag hoardes truly believe that their woes and disappointments are all behind them, I'd be amazed. In short, they are to Arsenal what Sunderland are to us - a bogey team.

Overall, they'll do okay, sadly. Probably be in the upper end of the mix between third and eight. If they wish to delude themselves with notions that this is progress, whilst conveniently turning a blind eye to their drunken sailor impression last summer, then that's their business/ problem.

Another day they would have been 3 down by 30 mins, Donought thief had another very good game, Arsenal were unlucky with the OG and then as usual bottled it against the rags.

They're still shit, just got lucky yesterday. Still suspect they'll finish 6-8th spot.

As someone once said ez football.

You have to say, it was a tactical masterclass from the Dutch master. To score two goals from only one shot on target is just amazingly efficient.

MOTD stats said they had 2 shots on target? I can only remember one.

I had talksport on and matterface said that they were winning but had had no shots on target.

That's some philosophy!!!

They had 2 shots on target, the Rooney goal, plus another shot from distance. Think it was Rooney again

Ironically they had the best chance of the game when Di Maria raced through and somehow missed. That would have been really funny if they had won 3-0

I don't think you can say they defended well and were clinically efficient on the counter. They had two attacks made for them by Arsenal leaving about 2 defenders back, whilst Arsenal camped around their penalty box and missed chances and wasted the final ball

But lucky as Utd may have been on the day, results can change confidence, and confidence is key in football

As much as i hate Wilshere glad he did that to Fellani. He was about to shout/spit or whatever he does and he saw his arse when the midget gave it him back. Hate the Fellani the goat fondlng C*NT

Fellani was 'head and shoulders' the best player on the pitch. Seemed to be wherever the action was, breaking up Arsenal attacks with his unfeasibly long pins, backing up defenders, and starting every counter attack. I'm being serious.

Summed up perfectly.
