So much for the "united" way of giving managers time...6 months is becoming the norm.

Sorry but got to be a few Blues on there with comments like this...

"If the average armchair fan can see this formation is not working I don't see why a highly paid manager cannot"

that's cruel..

bwahahahaha..

Yup - after the solid gold GPC plaque got taken down off the managers office door it was replaced with a blackboard and some chalk on a bit of string - the shape of things to come...........

we can laugh but they are really slicing him. he's a good man and a good manager. trouble is the arrogant twats have been spoilt. now Webb has gone they are fucked.

top 4 only has two places available after us and Chelsea and one will most certainly go to the Gooners, that leaves them as candidate for 4th spot with Southampton, west ham,Liverpool and Spurs, i can see West Ham and Spurs blowing themselves out so a three horse race for 4th, it would be nice for them to get 4th and get knocked out in the qualifying stages against a team like Torshavn

Still, reading our own post match 'reviews' yesterday was a bit embarrassing too. There is very little patience in the modern game and a clamour for instant success.

Having said that, there are very few things that would make me as happy than another failure for United to make the top four and for their finances to come under severe pressure. Of course, their adherence to FFP will not be questioned even if they make the top four because of their membership of the cartel.

That would open the floodgates for anyone opposed to FFP.
