Happy with the steady improvements shown by United. My take on the weekend:

outstanding football from United, the movement and interchanging of positions was like nothing iv'e ever seen at Old Trafford before. Herrera, Carrick and Mata totally bossed the game and as much as you can point to Hull being poor, it was simply a class display from United, very reminiscent of top continental sides in Europe
Didn't answer the question on why you don't support your home town club though.

ouch!

Sometimes, the answer just happens and you have no idea how...

I was leaving the gym, last night; knackered and hungry. Up pipes some twat with a random remark about the City shirt I was wearing.
"And what's the three stars all about?" his pal jeered.
"That's for the three minutes ye thought ye were champions," I sighed and walked on.

Happy days.

Edit to 2012 for rags, 2014 for dippers and september for Gooners and I think you've nailed it :D

Hull on saturday were rank. The first half was the most inept performance I have seen from any team in any league this season, and that includes both the north east team`s performances against Soton.
But now it appears the truth is out. Bruce was saving his team`s efforts for games against Everton and WBA. You shithouse.

HULL boss Steve Bruce has backed Tom Huddlestone to rediscover his best form for Hull.

Bruce dropped the midfielder for the first time in the league for Saturday’s defeat by Manchester United.

But after the Tigers were brushed aside 3-0 at Old Trafford the former Tottenham star will return to the starting line-up for tomorrow’s trip to Everton.

Huddlestone, 27, joined Hull for £5m 18 months ago.

Bruce said: "I was mindful of the fact we have three matches in a week.

"Tom has set really high standards here. When you do lose a bit of form, you start fighting for it.

"Tom was unfortunate to be left out but he took it exactly the way I thought he would.

"He didn’t go in a huff, he got on with it. He’s put himself in contention again.

"Can we expect to see him in the team? Yes."

Hull are striving to avoid a fifth straight loss.

Excellent riposte.

Well done.

This Is how the scum gets an easy ride years gone bye certain managers resting there better players thinking that they can't get anything out of the game!

City were pathetically hanging on at home against a 10 men injury ravaged Utd. United are winning home games again like it ain't no thang. Louis has got Wurzel's cards marked. I predict a sound beating for the divs at OT.

I really like Utd's chances of finishing second. We are 5 points off city and they lose players during the African Nations. We were solid against Hull, and seem to be back to our confident pre Moyes days. When we do meet City they seem to have an edge on us but I fancy Utd to win more games than City during the rest of the year.

Chelsea look really strong and I can see them winning the league with plenty games to spare and go deep in the Champions league too. City are not nailed on for second like everyone seems to think they are.

Some delusional rantings from the Guardian comments which has some terrible posters. Apparently we'll lose players beacause of the ACoN.

He must think Toure is more than one man. Yaya's worth their whole midfield combined so maybe the cretin's on to something.

I was in town yesterday afternoon/early evening having beers around the market from one til about half seven.

Saw two scarves wearers with a couple of kids, must have been mad on the motorway ........so different when we're at home.

Their fans are on a whole new level of deluded, this is a recent quote is taken from YouTube:

"Fellaini is a beast, isn't he? More importantly now, the fans have his back, and he knows it, and that clearly shows in his style of play on the pitch now! Come on Big Fella, Yaya Toure who?"

A comparison between de Gea/Hart I could understand that to a degree...but Toilet Brush over Yaya?? Fuck me. Proper knuckle-draggers!
