Thank you for the welcome (genuinely). As I said I have been a "rag" for 50 + years so I have seen our downs ( and your ups) before so i do think I am able to take a fairly objective view which is what my original post was based on. Just my opinion of course and if you would prefer me to do one and not post this sort of stuff then of course, we all have better things to do.

you are most definitly welcome to stick around. just be nice and so will our memebers. you'll enjoy it here.

I think you chaps need to start looking over your shoulders rather than talking 3/4/5:6 etc. Last nights result (note: result, not performance) was the best since SAF left. Definite feel of whole greater than sum of parts, another skill of the great managers, as is winning when you shouldn't. Has your manager displayed this skill yet? Yes I am a 50 year "rag".

He beat the defending champions home and away last season in the Premier League. Would that count?

Rags mention the downs but aside from not winning the title for 28 years they did pick up the odd cup here and there. What is the longest they went without winning a trophy? I know they got relegated but they romped the league that year and came straight back up so it hardly affected them.

Yeah, you're right. We should all humbly bow before you and accept that -despite Howard Webb retiring- your march towards the Prem title cannot be halted by either us, or the Chavs, or any other club. Congratulations on winning the QPR Trophy and now the 'Predictable-Arsenal-bottle-Job-Trophy'. The most expensive team ever assembled in the history of the Prem have certainly put us in our place.

I think without researching it was 26 years but close to half my life was spent thinking I would never see us win a league so the rest of it now I don't really give a shit or perhaps I do or I wouldnt be posting on here. I sure do understand how the scouters feel except their best chance ever went last year.
