The one game rhythm going? I think you'd need a couple more notes to name that tune....
Swansea are now an established Premier League club and I cant see them ever dropping out of it now. Their business model is second to none for a small club, they are very well run from the top. This means that the management, in terms of who is named as manager of the team, doesnt matter that much. They find capable enough people who fit how they want to play and maintain it. Their scouting system is pitched just right, they know players wont want to live in Swansea ffs, but find ones on the up or ones who will do and them move on, and in effect know their limitations and play to their strengths. The chairman is running a proper structured business there and they are set now for the long term, with work on infrastructure reflecting this. I put Swansea well in front of the Rags in terms of how the club is run these days. Yoonited are a brand, mortgaged to the tits and reliant on that brand to service those bills. Swansea are mortgage free, and building an extension with a cheeky hot tub and double garage cos they can

Just seen the premier league transfers on SSN* and I see Everton made a fantastic signing. Tom Zidane Cleverly
... On a free!! Amazing business for them as it weren't so long ago he was touted as the next best thing since sliced fuckin bread..

turn it on to see Olivia Godfrey looking splendid

What was that bullshit stat the rags were peddling a while back that every rag side since 1937 has included at least one player who came through their youth system? Well, not one academy product took the field on Saturday.

Bolloxs - They just promoted their latest academy lads, Romero, Depay, Schweinsteiger, Darmian & Scheiderwotsiname - In generations they'll be known as Turtles Triumphant Turds of 2015

Thought that Darmian had a decent enough game, but, he wasn't up against anyone. Blind at the back? Yes, please keep him there.
Land mines were still exploding everytime Ashley Young got tackled - how his legs have stayed in one piece is incredible.
Looks like we'll be playing the usual game for a while - how long before United score a goal from open play; so far, after 90 minutes, 1 shot on target.
Who do they have to bring in to improve the team? Jones? Fellaini? Rojo?
Not looking good for them at all.

No, but they won and that's the mot important thing. Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool were all poor too

That stat ran out years and years ago. Their latest moving of the goalposts is "they're in the squad"

No excuses this season from them, they have to be challenging for the title with the amount they have spent, Van Gaal has had his season to implement his 'philosophy' too (he said it would take 3 months didn't he?) so again no excuses. However, judging by their performance at the weekend against an average looking Spurs side I really don't see them as serious contenders. No improvement on last season at all.

I can see jizzyjazz going the same way.

Surely they're not going to stick with Rooney only, will they? Why not bid 50M for Benzema or Kane (overpriced for both, but hey, they love flexing their financial might and they've "earned" it, so they might as well indulge).

So very true, it always reminds of a line in a film, think it was with Leo DeCaprio, where the character asks his dad why are the Yankees so much better than other teams and his dad says 'they're no better but other teams just see the striped jerseys and give in without even trying' (or words to that effect.)

Catch me if you can, di caprio and christopher walken one of the best films i seen, true story also
