I don't actually mind Van Gaal that much, compared to most of the cunts they have over there. That might change if he starts going big with the Utdspeak during the season, there were hints of it last season.

But what I don't understand is why he is getting a free ride. At any other top club, including City, he would have been expected to challenge for the title last season, not challenge for 4th. There doesn't seem to be any pressure on him this season, & the talk is as if he's building some long term design for the future. Shweinsteiger ? Pedro ? My arse.

As soon as City spent serious money, we were told that anything other than the title, would be failure for Mancini. David James was slagging us off for 'only just' winning our two recent titles! Two titles, two 2nd places & we are often said to be underachieving.

Why isn't everyone shouting at this fucker, that what they have seen isn't good enough ?
 
Is this some kind of alternate reality that I find myself in this morning? Stoichkov putting the boot in to TT and the media airing his comments, and we're getting the plaudits for last night's excellent win.

Positive media coverage...this is going to take some getting used to.
 
Always had a soft spot for stoichkov when him and Romario demolished the rags in the Nou camp 4 nil. This puts him up one more in my book.

The only thing of all these people speaking up and slagging LVG is that someone at old Trafford might wake up and realise he is shit and sack him. Everyone should keep quiet and say he's doing an excellent job with the resources he's got, like moyes did with everton for ten years.

Personally I'd rather have it that way our player and club EXPECT to win titles and cups that will be ingrained in all our players from an early age, with the expectations at the scum and other clubs its top 4 and "building" a team, having this mentality players will subliminally think they've achieved when reaching top 4 like Arsenal do..
 
As funny as it is and all I think it looks bad when to have a pop at Turtle that you bring up Valdes. He refused to play.

Lets play devils advocate. No pun intended.

Firstly if Valdes doesn't play then he gets thrown into the first team and makes mistakes or has a poor game he will say "well I didn't play, I'm not match fit".
Secondly is Turtle supposed to say tonight your playing for the u21's "No boss I'm not playing" then Turtle is supposed to be fine with that? Turtle is the manager you don't tell the manager what to do.
