Good ole Raymondo with another corker...

(from the Express)

FORMER France boss Raymond Domenech believes Morgan Schneiderlin should settle for a move to Manchester United, but only because Chelsea and Manchester City aren't interested.
United are now in pole position to land the player from Southampton.
And while Domenech says the 25-year-old needs the move to retain his place in the French squad, he believes a move to Old Trafford will have to suffice because their aren't better options available.
"For him, [United] is a good move," Domenech told reporters.
"If he wants to be with the French national team, then he has to be in this Champions League - but if he stays at Southampton, no luck."

"United are better than Southampton, sure, but it's not [Manchester] City, it's not Chelsea. For him, the first thing is to leave Southampton.
"After, if he gets a team just behind the three big teams, it's good.
"Maybe after, he'll come through. He is good enough for the Champions League."
Is he after the city job next year ?

Who are they actually trying to sign this summer..... oh wait haven't they been snubbed by about everyone touted so far - no strategy, no plan....... just laughable

Do you honestly think Ferguson wouldn't have gone on a spending spree if he'd been given the green light by the Glazers? I'm not saying his recruitment policy wasn't short-termist towards the end, but that was because the years of underinvestment in the squad by the owners meant it was the only way Taggart could fuel his ego and get the title back in 2013.

The pertinent question that arises out of this, which has never been asked in the lickspittle press, of course, is why a man who was never afraid to stand up to his employers previously, who was well known for taking no shit and acting like a petulant child if he didn't get what he wanted, was so compliant, so effete, with his last employers at the club.

The answer may lay with information in their possession which somehow brought him obediently to heel.

The highly lucrative "2012 Equity Incentive Award Plan" that would be my guess..
