Seems a decent enough player which is what United are aspring to, seemingly, and hoping the Turtle's tactical genius and some favourable decisions allow them to occupy the territory that Arsenal used to occupy.

So utd have agreed a deal with Fenerbache for Van Persie. I wonder who they are going to get then because they are short up top now defo.

As far as I've seen, Darmien is alright. Nothing special, but anything is an upgrade on Valencia and Rafael. Not a fan of Italians in the premier league though, they don't tend to do well imo, defensively it's a very different game over here.

Seems about right for the Glazers though, release loads of rumours that you're going to sign Bale, Ronaldo, Muller, Hummels, Gundogan etc, then sign a £10m RB who barely anyone has ever heard of instead.

Chatting to another of my Italian friends earlier (lives in Verona, supports Hellas) and he reckons this lad is the best Italian RB by a long way at the moment.

They'll need a lot more than that though.

Best Italian RB is hardly a difficult contest to win these days though is it? I'd struggle to name another one who I wouldn't first have to check if they'd retired tbh. It will be right up there with his award for being the best RB at United
