A very pleasant read and confirms what many of us have been saying for years. The rags are complacent and think they can get everything their own way because of their name. Their fans are starting to wake up to it, lets hope it takes the board a bit longer.
Fun to see them realising how far behind they are, even if they do seem to be blaming it mostly on money and not enough on their own owners refusal to just keep up with the times. This paragraph as well is very raggy

City are not naïve and know they're not going to produce first team stars, but they currently have three outstanding players in their entire system who they think have a fair chance of making it. The rest will hopefully be sold for a profit

Apparently we only have 3 kids in out entire academy who might make it...

3 that are expected to be good enough for the first team. That's not actually a bad haul.

Warms the cockles of your heart that does.

Thanks.

I'd say we have 3 who we expect to stand a chance of getting into our first team squad next season (Lopes, Denayer and Kelechi), in our entire system I'd say there are a hell of a lot more than that.

Apparently, scum are finalising a deal for Torino's defender, Matteo Darmian for £12.9 million.

Another big name joining the swamp revolution, eh?

To be fair, when you have the legendary Phil Jones marshalling your defence you can get away with one or two others being marginally below world class.

paddy the pissed up washed up senile old **** still thinks fergie is in charge and beckham is the captain.

They were when he started his latest piss-up.

I particularly liked this snippet:

It's City who now get most of the best players in Manchester, as was recently the case with an 11-year-old who switched from red to blue. He's already the best player in his age group and was happy at United. However, when his older brother was released by the Old Trafford club, his parents were unhappy and City stepped in to take both boys.

He, he!

Would be a good signing for the rags, even on the short term.

Schweinsteiger is still one of the best midfielders in Europe and will add experience to a side in transition.
