They have a thread on the caf about club sizes, from giant clubs to small clubs. No prizes for guessing where we come. It's just another way of reassuring themselves that they are still the biggest draw and have the most fans and the best noodle partner. One poster did actually say that in ten years City will be a giant club. Most of them are saying Forest, Villa and Spurs are currently bigger than us.
It gladdens the heart to see threads like that on the caf, because it means they are still shite on the pitch or they'd be bragging about the actual football.

well said...

Who cares where we finish in some opinion poll on a forum?
There's one table that matters and thats the PL table.

Just looked at that thread and they've missed a category off: 'club with fans who are having an absolute fucking ball no matter how big their club might be: Manchester City.'

To support this club, having followed it for forty years, with all the attendant ups and downs that went along with that experience, and to end up where we now have, feels utterly indescribable.

For them to be faltering at the same time is the icing on the cake.

Given that, I couldn't give a flying fuck if we are small, tiny or minuscule. It doesn't detract one iota from how it feels to be a City fan today.

Quite simply, I'm enjoying the ride far too much to care how 'big' my club is.

It really is a dream come true. The funniest thing about the "wait while Mansour gets bored" jibes, is that even if he did pull out tomorrow it wouldn't matter to most of us anyway. In it for life and not for the trophies.

Wow.. they really are spending their time convincing themselves that they are an elite club and that we aren't worthy of being in their presence. How very small. This is how it feels to be United. This is how it feels to be small. This is how it feels to be managed by Louis Van Gaal.
