What you'll often find with more limited strikers is that they can score a lot of goals in a team that's set up to get the best out of them, but when they make that step up to a team that isn't (because they're set up to get the best out of more talented players) they don't score so many. That's how I imagine it'll go with Austin if he goes there. The one thing I remember from when we played QPR last season was just how often he was caught offside.I'm no fan of Charlie Austin, but he outscored some pretty decent players last season, playing for a piss poor relegation fodder QPR side. He's already scored 4 this season for them in the Championship. I'm surprised that the likes of West Ham and Sunderland aren't trying to snap him up. He's only got a year left on his contract. If we signed him, I'd only be happy as a replacement for Hernandez who looks likely to be on his way.
