Hahaha the golden boy! Did he get a badge and a certificate for that??? You are all failing to acknowledge that Sterling did nothing last season, and no other clubs came in for him. The fee you paid was ridiculous. De Bruyne has had one decent season in the Bundesliga, but never made the grade in the PL for Chelsea. They sold him for £18m in 2014. And his one inspired season occurred when Bayern's only threat (Dortmund) decided to have a sabbatical. Lets see how he fares in his second attempt at the PL.

Have a read of this mate - even Newcastle's Mitrovic is 4 places higher than Whatshisname. Oh, and who is that at number 1?

£420m squad,
£300m spent in 12 months
4 Competitions to play, including a CL group they should progress through

and yet:
  • 1 Senior striker.
  • 1 injury to Smalling away from a CB partnership of Rojo-Blind or McNair-Blind or Carrick-Blind (you know Jones will be injured)
  • De Gea unhappy, Valdes unhappy, Romero shite
  • 19 outfield players - 3 of which are McNair, Wilson, and Martial, who no-one has any idea how he will take to PL football. - 6 of which have persistent injury concerns.
If Liverpool get their act together...

Sacking Brenton would be a good start, the fraud. Sad state of affairs that despite their hilarious transfer dealings and piss thin squad, there aren't any better challengers for 4th spot than the rags. It's almost as if Spurs and Liverpool are too scared to try and break into the top 4 again because they don't want to sustain the investment needed to stay there. Pretty pathetic given the money flooding into the English game at present. Levy and Kronke et al will be pissing themselves at how easily they've conned fans into caring about winning the good accounting trophy.

Quite a damning analysis of our players considering that we see Sterling week in week out stretching other teams thin reminiscent of his season with Suarez that almost got them the title. It's lazy to cherry pick his season playing alongside the likes of Henderson and a PL incompatible gerrard against playing with Aguero/Silva

If you read the BM insight of sterling's last season, most have acknowledged he did almost nothing. But still he carried them and was ran to the ground for all his worth. Put him in a quality squad and he's quality

Have nothing but contempt for these horrible fuckers, Vile arrogant club and I have nothing but hatred. The banner they pulled on us, the lack of gratitude for giving them a home after the war. Hope they liquidate. We've left them behind, and they're now adopting the policy they've criticised us for.

Yes that banner, Ferguscum never ever condemned it but as soon as we put up the Tevez "Welcome to Manchester" billboard he went absolutely ballistic the hypercritical old tosspot.

Fuck me, this window has really got to you lot. What utter fuckin nonsense.

"pheeloshophee".

Apparently if a player is going forward on his own with the ball in the opposition half and there's a player in front of him, the instruction is to check back every time and wait for support.

I'm really intrigued by this, quoted by PB, and the 'lump it up to bog brush' tactic they revert to when desperate (quite often these days).

When I say intrigued, I mean I can't stop fucking laughing.

How about a bet on who will score the most goals in all competitions this season Sterling or Depay? If Depay scores more, you lose your Bluemoon account, if Sterling scores more, I have to stand outside the Etihad holding up a sign that says "Sterling - The golden boy"

Chelsea sold him for £18m (indicates to me that he even then was still rated highly)

Chelsea sold Namanja Matic only to have to buy him back a few years later and now widely regarded as the best holding midfielder in the league

Anthony Martial - No one (you probably included had ever heard of this young lad)
He's 19 its a big ask for any 19yo no matter how talented to carry a team supposedly challenging for honours
He has no track record to even suggest he is worth what Wolfsburg paid for De Bruyne 18 months ago

I think had the rags signed this lad for 10m, on top of having a top class striker already at the club (along the lines of an Aguero, not an out of form over the hill Rooney), had his name been connected to the club all summer after a long chase, then you could maybe congratulate the rags on forward planning. The reality is that none of the aformentioned things are true and this can only be described as a complete panic buy.

Where did I mention Depay? I'm talking about Whatshisname - you know, the player you've paid more for than we paid for Sterling despite Sterling being rated the best young player in Europe while Whatshisname is down in 17th place.
