Do you know why United, arsenal and Liverpool are big in Asia, because they wear red shirts, red is considered lucky in that part of the world, that's why Cardiff changed strip colours because of their owner. We will just take the rest of the world thanks.

So, Gill believes that they and Liverpool have the Asian market sewn up. Fantastic, that's just what our owners would be wishing for, complacency !

Come on Sun, do your bit for us in China.

Heart goes out to him TBH. As fans, surely we can wish a speedy recovery for a promising young English talent?

I reckon he'll be back in action for the start of next season, most are back within a year with them sort of leg breaks. The only thing I'd worry about if I was a United fan is his fitness, he looks prone to gaining weight easily and could easily balloon. It happened to Gazza and Rooney's weight has fluctuated between injuries

Although I agree with what you're saying my original point was that should he really be making quotes like this considering his current position

To be fair, he may well be right. He did seemingly try to justify his opinion. I dislike the man but he merely expressed an opinion. An inoffensive opinion. Personally, I found what he said to be trivial and of no importance. I am not sure how his opinion on this issue could have any impact on us.

I wonder what the percentage of tops worn in Asia are "official merchandize" ?

Ive been to Asia a lot and most of them look bootleg to me...

Deluded fuckers

That's my experience too. The important market, from a revenue raising perspective, is north America - lots of people and high incomes.
