Cheers bud.50,363 according to BBC match report, pretty sure its a club record for a european home game.
That's what was quoted on most match reports. Although, we may have to wait until Eamon Holmes, Pete Boyle, Paul Scholes and the only two giddy fuckwits at the caf that can actually find Manchester, finish sniffing all of the seat before this figure can be officially confirmed.50,363 according to BBC match report, pretty sure its a club record for a european home game.
From a small minded ignorant fool.
The truth is Gill can't cope with what's happening on the blue side of Manchester. Since the takeover the club has changed incredibly, we are now the fastest growing club in the world which is likely to continue year on year.
It is however very difficult to change the allegiance of fans from one club to another but that is why the club are creating this City brand throughout the world which will attract new young first time fans.
Gill & others alike will be eating their worlds in around 10 years time.
Accidently see a pic of Shaw yesterday, horrible injury. These breaks and compound fractures they do wonderful jobs these days. I'd be more worried if I were a footballer doing my ACL in than a leg break. ACL injuries seem to affect the player more long term than a break

"So to speak"? What the fuck is that supposed to mean?http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...vid-Gill-praises-Sheikh-Mansour-s-vision.html
Manchester City will never eclipse United in Asia and certain markets, says David Gill but praises Sheikh Mansour's vision
I’m not being arrogant here but it (City) will never be as big as Manchester United in Asia and certain markets,' he said.
'Look at Liverpool - the club haven’t won the league for so many years but they are very popular in Asia.
'The big teams with history and heritage, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Juventus and Real Madrid, have that.'
Gill, the Football Association's vice chairman, was asked how United reacted when news filtered through that Sheikh Mansour had taken over across town.
The immediate reaction was, ‘we’ve seen it before with Abramovich (at Chelsea)’ and you have to deal with it,' the former FIFA president revealed.
'Clearly, he shook it up in terms of the investments he made.
'They made mistakes but they now have a very good team and you can’t argue with that.'
Gill also praised Sheikh Mansour's impact off the field. Aside from huge investment in playing staff, City have built a new £200million training complex in one of Manchester's most deprived wards and have built a sixth form college and sports centre for community use.
'I think you also have to give credit to their vision, so to speak.' he added.
'What they’ve done in conjunction with the Manchester city council in east Manchester is fantastic.'
Gill hailed Sheikh Mansour's impact and believes he has already created a lasting legacy.
'If Sheikh Mansour decided he wanted to sell the club tomorrow, what he’s left there, in terms of the development of that whole area, is unbelievable and is great testament to what they have done,' he said.
