Like it or not, considering they don't have a sugar daddy those figures are impressive. Anyone who thinks they are on a financial spiral downwards should think again.

They've had one huge boost with Chevrolet and Adidas. However, just as Arsenal were with Emirates and Nike, Chelsea were with Adidas and Samsung and we are with Etihad and Nike, they're now locked into 2015 rates for the next 10 years on those deals, while inflation within the sport brings the value of new deals signed by other clubs higher and higher.

A colleague heard the "It Should Have Been Ten!" song for the first time during the recent swamp derby, and this morning, he asked me, in front of the resident obnoxious rag in our section, "What's that you sing about Fuck Off Back to London?

There's no doubt that the rag heard him, but he gave no reaction. I was pissing myself laughing!

28 home matches, 7 pre season matches (which they include in matchday) and the charity shield. Maybe closer to the £3m mark.
Not that I'm too arsed, but I'd expect pre season in USA Malasia and the like will be appearance fees paid by the sponsors (Audi for Audi Cup, Mr Noodle for the Noodle Pot, etc) rather than matchday revenue. Same for charidy shield that will be FA revenue.

So could be 108m for 28 matches.
But not arsed either way so could be 36 matches.

The scum confirmed in one of their reports to the stock market last season that they count pre-season towards matchday income. Liverpool do the same.
