Just watched the 99 side on Sky that won the treble, even that it was them. It got me wondering, how many of that side would get in to the City side today? or how many of our players get into their team?

Im struggling to be honest. Its hard to see where that team was weak, Would Kun get into the side and break up the partnership of Cole and Yorke?. Their midfield with Giggs, Keane, Scholes and Beckham was impeccable. Just a hard call as I think I would be to biased with City. But they did have a strong team back then.

I see the BBC are making another programme about them - Class of 92 shite again. So, no matter that they stop winning trophies, the BBC will find a way to keep them relative. Public service broadcaster my fucking arse.

Herrera is your best midfielder by a country mile. He adds a bit of urgency, skill and guile that the rest
have lost or just don't have.

I know it's strange. Or maybe not with such a risk averse manager as Van Gaal, he seems to prefer our midfielders to be safe and keep the ball. It's a shame since he'll have a great game and find himself on the bench the next week.

It's the third nauseatingly obsequious programme to be aired directly relating to united within a month. I wonder if it will produce the same levels of fawning and revisionism as the other two. I expect so.
