Utd website:
"At the request of Rooney himself, all monies generated from the game after expenses."
Wonder how much all the players will receive for playing, will cuntana make an appearance for a big wad of cash?

The organisations to which the testimonial proceeds will be distributed by the Foundation include the NSPCC, Alder Hey Childrens’ Hospital, Claire House Hospice and the Manchester United Foundation."
What is the Manchester United foundation when it's at home?
Does it go towards building more quadrants they can't fill for cup games?
Great move...classy.
Bang on the fucking money. Stop winning trophies, then keep making stories to keep you relevant. The BBC will assist - probably live on BBC 1, with a 5 hour build up including the 99 season, an hour long behind the scenes documentary with Giggs and Scholes reading his favourite poetry......Big PR job on the rags this year !

Yeh but ! Where do they get the money from if they're 400 million in debt ?Looking at their squad and ages they will need another £400m, Pig farmer, rug head, Carrick and Tom Daley are knocking on a bit now and will need replacing, the donut thief will be off at the end of the season, not to mention all the shite players they have...will the Glaziers spend big again ?
I reckon most of them simply don't understand or aren't used to the sheer tribalism that fans in and around Manchester will have experienced. They probably exist in an environment where they're given no stick or possibly even admired for being rags.
They tried that in 2012 when they came to ours and were clearly desperate to get that point that would keep us three points behind. They didn't have one shot on target that game but they didn't stop us scoring.

Old whores care home, surely.Surely Rooney should give to a horse charity after all the hair they've supplied him with?
Cynically:
Last week, two multimillionaire property developers allowed some people to stay in an empty building that isn't being used for several months.
Yesterday, a football club graciously announced its agreement to allow a large number of people to give money to charity.
Do horses have pubic hair?Surely Rooney should give to a horse charity after all the hair they've supplied him with?
Indeed. I fervently hope that the Turtle keeps being a stubborn old git and blank out the noise and continue to play Rooney up top and keep Martial out on the wing. Long may it continue.
Save our Wazza!
SOW!
A guy I worked with did the Kilimanjaro thing with Robson and Moran for the Manchester United Foundation and it sounded a right con. Not only did you have to pay handsomely to do it you had to guarantee a specific amount of money to the charity. So basically he had to pay to go and then pay to make up the shortfall in his donations.
