"At the request of Rooney himself, all monies generated from the game after expenses will be distributed to his chosen charities through the newly-created Wayne Rooney Foundation, itself a registered charity. The organisations to which the testimonial proceeds will be distributed by the Foundation include the NSPCC, Alder Hey Childrens’ Hospital, Claire House Hospice and the Manchester United Foundation."
After expenses - the charities better hope that Cuntana isn't being asked to show up then.

Bang on the fucking money. Stop winning trophies, then keep making stories to keep you relevant. The BBC will assist - probably live on BBC 1, with a 5 hour build up including the 99 season, an hour long behind the scenes documentary with Giggs and Scholes reading his favourite poetry......Big PR job on the rags this year !

I reckon most of them simply don't understand or aren't used to the sheer tribalism that fans in and around Manchester will have experienced. They probably exist in an environment where they're given no stick or possibly even admired for being rags.
They tried that in 2012 when they came to ours and were clearly desperate to get that point that would keep us three points behind. They didn't have one shot on target that game but they didn't stop us scoring.
