I know we claim 'sold' tickets as part of the attendance so perhaps we can't call them as all teams so it.

There was however, a piccy of the top tier of the baconface stand completely empty on here Saturday night, was that from the game?

Yes everyone seems to do it but only City get it highlighted in the media. All rather childish.

Lest we forget the 3 added on in the first half....11 minutes of extra time in total and finally it was down to a stuffy pen. But, bless 'em, they did it.

The difference is that all rag S/T holders (55,000) were forced at gunpoint to buy a ticket for Saturday's game and clearly many of them couldn't be arsed going. The Midtjylland game should be interesting with only those on the League Cup scheme being forced to buy a ticket seeing as they had 40,000 empties for the Ipswich League Cup game.

I'm pretty sure the empty top tier pic was from the infamous Newcastle League Cup game a few seasons ago.

Anyone know their attendances?....looked it up,can't find it,ESPN are saying the biggest attendance was 59,349 at Arsenal.

The Times had it as 75458
The empty top tier was shown on MOTD, it was Saturday's match.

Attendances used to be understated to avoid tax (allegedly) back in the days when it was mostly cash at turn styles however the IT involved and ways in which clubs sell tickets now mean that the number of people turning up and the sales of tickets are two very separate things. Tax doesn’t come into it anymore. Any club would be able to confirm a very accurate number of both ticket sales and attendance by half time if they wanted to. I guess they don’t want to!

Not really important. Firstly it's a minimum of 6 minutes, and secondly there was 1 sub, 1 goal, a penalty and 7 fouls.

Should have been more than 1:15 over the 6 minutes.
