I think that's probably accurate (based on tickets sold) but it would have been 10,000 empty seats without Sheff Utd

Actual attendance was just over 41k (according to GMP allegedly) with 33,000 unused seats. Don't think they count hospitality attendees that don't enter via the turnstiles though so, if that figure is kosher, it might have been a few thousand higher. Plus FA Cup tickets are mandatory for S/T holders so they probably sold a lot more.

Someone else tweeted them as being from GMP. Hence the use of 'allegedly'.

Find that figure hard to believe knowing
sheffield had at least 8000 ? So only 30+ rags?
