SSN are priceless - reporting on the Barcodes vs rags game -

" Louis van Gaal said yesterday that United sometimes bored him ... well not tonight they won't with 26 shots in the match............. two more from Newcastle on 14 to United's 12 "

Fuck me there's a biased gloss if ever I saw one

And now Howard Webb tells us how Fellaini should be allowed to kick people off the ball, without being booked, whilst already on a yellow, because that's what he does.

That was staggering, you know what you're going to get so he should get away with. Explains how Scholes got away with it for years.

Fuckin Ian darke after weetabix head put the rags 3-2 up......"this could be the start of something good, this could be the beginning of a great run..."
Have you ever heard so much fuckin tripe in all your life.
They can't wait to fuckin shove their tongue up the rags arse.
God the fuckin wankfest these cunts put us through.

To be fair it could be the start of a few draws on the run - which would be an improvement despite what the press say

Newcastle hadn't scored in 4 games before today. There's the brilliant rag defence for you. The media whores are all mental.

How on earth have they managed to turn this into a positive.

That's the second time they've tried to take risks like against Wolfsburg and they paid the price.

They finally get their attack going, but before going 0-2 up, Newcastle had a blatant penalty turned down which would have brought the scores back to 1-1.

So after sorting their attack, their defence goes awol, Mike Smalling, Darmian, Blind and Young all useless.

Newcastle were the better side in my opinion, but not by much. Having said that, Newcastle are in the bottom three!

The opinion of the BBC

He can have no such complaints after this hugely entertaining, see-saw game, which produced some of their best attacking play of the season.

Rooney was magnificent.

Even though he was involved in all three goals, Rooney looked absolutely fucked
The first goal was a pen
The second, he was put through with the goal at his mercy. Any good centre forward with any kind of pace would have run though and had an effort on goal
Shrek was that slow, Coloccini made up ten yards on him (in a 40 yard sprint) and Lingard, who Rooney passed to to score, made up 30-40 yards on Rooney
The rags last goal, the ball deflected into Rooney's path and to be fair it was an instinctive hit from 20 yards into the top corner, but he didn't have to move. In fact when Depay was running toward the penalty area with the ball, Rooney never moved at all. He just looked knackered

He had the opportunity to take on the last man on three or four occasions and couldn't get round him
Chris Waddle who was my match summariser was saying that Rooney needs to practice on his left foot
Rooney's problem is that on his weaker left side he's too slow to take a player on
