The doll manufacturers can argue the toss all they like, that's clearly a doll of Bastian Schweinsteiger! All this "purely coincidental" bollocks isn't going to fool anyone. Maybe, MAYBE if they'd called the doll Franz, or Wolfgang, they could have got away with the way it looks, but that head combined with the name Bastian and it's obvious!

Can anyone explain why United are shown as second in their group?
Same for and against as Moscow and a draw in the head to head so should it not be alphabetical with C before M?

It's irrelevant, however since you ask, technically United have scored 1 away goal against Moscow whilst Moscow have scored none against United, so United lead in the head-to-head. Obviously Moscow haven't had the opportunity to score an away goal against United at this stage so it's a slightly strange fact to use as a separator (although no more or less strange than using alphabetical order!), but nonetheless that's the reason.

I thought UEFA regs stated that until both matches had been played they'd use GD to separate the teams? That's the way it's done in the European leagues that use H2H.

GD is equal though, at 1-1, so they need to go to the next level down, which I believe heads back to the Away Goal rule. It's not really all that relevant as, eventually, everyone plays everyone home and away.

Ah just looked at the table, didn't realise how identical the records are.

I know it'd mean qualification for the scum, but I'd love it to stay that way for the next 3 games so that they went through on the higher coefficient rule just to show how stupid a rule it really is.

Heard this on the radio today - now I have seen the evidence I am pissing myself ha ha ha- Bang to fucking rights those doll makers

UEFA were going to charge the rags with fielding an ineligible player last night until it was pointed out it was just a shit Wayne Rooney.

I thought UEFA - and PL - regs stated that the scum should be shown as high in the table as possible, even if it isn't strictly correct.

;-)

No Action RooneyMan

Comes with 6 replaceable rugs and keys to the local Morgue !!

You just know this fucker is going to turn up on Sunday :(

Only if we let him. We just need to play some of the football we have already played this season and we'll win, they on the other hand need to improve greatly to stand any sort of chance.

Never mind, Wiggy... Just imagine the wankfest if Tony Martial were to score the winner.
*shudders*

(Although, I'm sure Martin Samuel will then write a report that centres on the astronomical Utd fee paid for the kid. You know, just like his report on KdB's winner in the Sevilla game?)

Quickly! To the media bias thread!!

If Kompany and Kolarov come back into the starting lineup we'll be more solid defensively and with the attacking options we have we should have enough to win the game. The main issue is we're without our usual rag destroyers in Silva and Aguero so our attacking players need to have a good game. I think they'll struggle to contend with De Bruyne and the pace of Sterling. Just need Bony to have a good game and Yaya to put in a shift in midfield. With Nacho on the bench I'm confident we'll score but need to put in a big performance. It will be a huge mental blow for the rags if we win. Will be interesting to see which Everton side turn up at Arsenal. Would be great if we're still top when we play the rags on Sunday to then open up a decent gap at the top. Silva isn't too far from a return I believe, so we'll be in a great place when he returns.
