Choose the arrogance to field your reserve team then complain about the consequences. Choose a racist Albino with pink eyes and a red nose as your goalkeeper. Choose not to be liked by anyone and pretend not to care. Choose your own referee and linesmen-except in Europe. Choose a Norwegian paperboy as your top goalscorer. Choose your club before your country. Choose to have the biggest most expensive squad in British football then complain about injuries. Choose Wales before England. Choose Paul Parker. Choose to be arse-licked by the media and accuse them of being Anti-United. Choose to forget 1969-1993 ever existed. Choose to change the team you support every season. Choose to shield your players from TV interviews until they can read and write. Choose a sour-faced scot as your manager. Choose to change your kit 6 times a season. Choose to be snubbed by every decent player around the world then pretend you didn’t want them anyway. Choose self-deception and delusions of Grandeur. Choose your best player ever an incoherent, wife-beating, alcoholic Irishman. Choose to poach your ‘impressive youth policy’ from other clubs. Choose to sign a world-class centre forward beginning with SH and pretend not to care when you get Sheringham instead of Shearer. Choose to go for the triple and end up with F*** All. Choose embarrassment. CHOOSE MAN. UNITED!

Who are these 13 players out injured, FFS they aren't counting players who have played a couple of games are they? It would be like us saying that Garcia was injured. Man up Turtle and get a grip. That said I can't wait till we are (hopefully) stuffing them in the league and we can sing 'Turtle was right, you're f*****g sh**e, Turtle was right, you're f*****g sh**e.

I think:
De Gea, Johnstone (3rd GK), Darmian, Beaker, Rojo, Shaw,Valencia, Varela (ha), Schweinsteiger, Young, Januzaj, Shrek.

That does leave the defence a bit of a mess, but other than that Young and Shrek are the only two likely to play.

Ironically, last night's shambles somehow serves only to glorify United by comparison. Henry Winter is going on an on about how a "Great club" with a "great tradition", an "institution" with a "glorious history" is being betrayed by LvG and his crew, in front of greats like Charlton and Giggs.

Their past achievements have somehow been magnified into an earthly paradise of non-stop heroism, genius and all-round lovable, untarnished perfection. A world that never was.

De Gea, Johnstone (3rd GK), Darmian, Beaker, Rojo, Shaw,Valencia, Varela (ha), Schweinsteiger, Young, Januzaj, Shrek.

That does leave the defence a bit of a mess, but other than that Young and Shrek are the only two likely to play.

Hmm Darmian RB, Shaw & Rojo both LB. Varela young RB. None of the rest are defenders. We've had it much worse at the back concerning injuries to key players.... not that you'd know tho, we only hear how terrible they have it. Poor souls.

I quite enjoy this attitude from them though as it makes the pain of their decline and fall even more acute for them as they gaze proudly back at their glorious past and their eyes fill with the tears of nostalgia, and they look at what they have become.
