The test for Martial comes when people stop allowing him to run, which they are doing all the time at the monent.

He hasn't shown any particular genius to me yet. Just size & decent pace. He should be stopped early before he starts running. Then we will see if he can do anything else.

Theo Walcott used to do exactly the same thing.

Well done to London transport for supplying a flying bus to take the utd players home

He had some luck tonight with that goal for sure, and knowing United I figured they'd get 2shots on target all night for 2 goals, but that isn't the first time I've watched martial this season and I've gone from thinking United were crazy to thinking he has the ability to be the real deal. There's still plenty of time for United to ruin him though or for him to up and leave to one of the Spanish giants, so I'm counting on that. Plus Memphis turned out to be a complete potato which puts a smile on my face after all the hype he was getting in the media.

Bit of luck with his first too, there's 3 ways that cross goes, keeper deals with it, keeper misses it and one of the 3 defenders between him and martial on the line of the ball clears it, keeper makes a shit parry and gets an assist for the goal.

Martial is worth every penny.

Hopefully our scout can find someone who is as good as him.

After signing Aguero, we didn't sign any world class forward.

No doubt there is pressure being applied now to get the result reversed because of the trauma the tardy twats suffered.

He's really not.
We'll have to disagree about that. Someone mentioned martial being like a theo Walcott, but to me sterling looks much more like a Walcott type (very fast but technically very limited) than martial does. I'd love to be wrong, but I think a few people here are seeing sterling through blue tinted specs.

I fear that's the case sadly. Has more technical ability in his little toe than sterling has in his whole body. Atleast he isn't also homegrown.

Technical ability, pace and strength/size. For such a young player he is some deal.

I have been told by a very gutted United mate tonight that Rooney still has 3 years left on his £300,000 a week contract.....and he reckons that Rooney is basically finished as a top player. I have to agree as his legs have already gone. You've got to give it to Rooney though....he must be one hell of a businessman to get a deal like that...haha!!!
