Don't agree with that. If anything I think Spurs' place in the league so far and their performances this season have gone under the radar. Maybe due to Leicester but if I was a Spud I'd be a bit fucked off we haven't been talked up as much as they probably deserve. Maybe it's just a case of the media expecting them to do well with what they've spent, like with us?

Nobody believes they paid for a ticket and they clearly have no idea what is expected of them being there except to be ready for the camera shot

Do they honestly expect the sheep to believe that these ex-players love their club so much that they give up their own time and money to come and watch them. If so then surely it says more about how the club treats ex-players

I would suggest many other fans have similar feelings. The only silver lining for me is that my missus would be over the moon. She was ecstatic when we won the league in 2012.

the good thing about this europa cup tie is that its spread over two legs....over the space of a week....giving reasonable people,plenty of opportunity to reflect..on the demise of two uk institutions.
