Isn't that just another nicely worded way of sacking someone? If it was at any other club we'd be saying he was sacked.

No he didn't. The club extended his contract last summer by a year and then paid him off his final year.

He was sacked.

I was just listening to a recording from 5Live the from the other night - they were banging on about the 'United Way' and that record they have about having an academy player n the squad since time began. I thought that record went a couple of years ago? Anyway, I couldn't bare to listen for very long, especially as they had 2 united fans on as well
