He signed a one year extension, not two, last summer.I've never seen it as him being sacked, as I've always had the impression that he knew he was coming in to steady the ship for a couple of seasons until Guardiola could come in. It seemed like he was complicit in the arrangement and even when he signed the two year extension he was fully aware he would be leaving after one. I guess technically that might still amount to having been sacked but i don't feel it's that black and white.
Either way, we've managed to get the manager we've been after for the past 4 years and United have ended up with the one they've been trying to avoid for the past 4 years. Sounds good to me.
That changed his three year deal, to a four year one. Either way, we have terminated it early. And Pellegrini would rather be managing City than Everton.
