BBC are reporting it and clearly mentioning in the report that this is a direct result of us appointing Guardiola :)
 
It's funny, because it seems like a reactive move to City getting Guardiola. A lot of their fans (judging by their forums) and indeed their board didn't seem that keen on Mourinho a few weeks ago, but now they're desperately seeing him as the man to take on Guardiola. City calling the tune at Old Trafford, who'd have thought it.

Looks like he will be the new RAG manager as BBC and Dan Roan (close to Mendes camp) are as close as ITK as you will ever get.. Mourinho suits them. Pep always had the better of him.. remember the 5-0 mauling Pep's Barca thrashed Mourinho in La Liga!?

It will backfire, badly. Mourinho's ego is deflated after getting snubbed for Moyes, then Van Gaal.. and then getting sacked by Madrid, then Chelsea.. he's damaged goods and this will all end in tears me thinks.

Typical RAGGY BBC though leaking this to try to overshadow Pep joining us news. Cunts ! how about announcing the sacking of the manager you already have first!?

Fans on their forums may be getting giddy. But nearly all reds who live in M'cr that I know, don't want him and accept it is a desperate move.
 
I found it interesting that The Turtle wouldn't see out his final year. That's a nice way of saying they've fired their 2nd Manager in 3 years.

Mourinho is perfect for them, he won't take the job though, unless they make the CL. He won't be able to attract his usual established seasoned stars on short deals with Europa football. I may be wrong, but I'm happy to be. The double standards/hypocrisy are beyond humiliating now.

He is an ego maniac, and that ego may well prevent him taking a non competitive job at United.

Less money, worse squad and not as attractive proposition as us, I doubt he'll want that. My bet, he's hoping Blanc takes United or Allegri taking the Chelsea job. Two leagues he can flat track bully and try and sewer his way to CL glory without the pressure of performance, Juve would be perfect for that. Win the league with ease, and cheat and steel his way to the CL.
 
The British press are absolutely desperate for this to happen. They will spend column inch after column inch plugging the rivalry with the slant that Mourinho has got the better deal - before that though the next four months will see Pep (and us fans) continuously informed how hard a task he has ahead of him on one hand and that he's taken the easy option on the other. In short, the salivating, sycophantic cockroaches are going all in for 'Team Mourinho'
 
It's been nailed-on since the slimy twat came out with his classic "the best team lost" post match interview after RM beat the rags at the swamp.

Can't wait - after a short interlude of relative apathy, normal levels of hatred will shortly be re-kindled courtesy of the combined efforts of their scummy fans and their scummy club, and a scummy manager fawned over once again by our scummy media.
 
I dont want this to happen. Besides Pep Mourinho is still 2nd best manager out there. Who also (lets be honest) has proved himself over many more years with worse teams. Still we will twat them no matter who is in charge. Lol if this does happen, poor Mata :D

12 months ago he might have been second best but after this year the meltdown at Chelsea has tainted him, he's lost his marbles and I don't think he has that bigger than any player air about him anymore. The Chelsea players wanted rid and that's what happened, I never thought I'd see that happen with Mourinho.
 
Couldn't care less if the eye gouger took over from lvg,for a start they need major surgery on the squad which would require a large outlay,he has lost a bit of his aura and the premier league is changing where midtable teams and below are paying fees for players that only top 4 or thereabouts could splash out on before.the pressure of getting the rags back too the top spot will be his undoing to many teams battling for 3-4 spots with also the specter of baconface hanging over him...
